I must admit I don't often re-read stories I've read, fanfic or otherwise, but this is one of those exceptions. The characterisations, the slow development of the relationship, Krycek's behaviour and backstory are just perfect. It's hot, it's emotional, it's true to the characters, and even has a hint of an X-File beyond the Conspiracy storyline that was Krycek's usual role on the show. I was absolutely bowled over by how well-written and carefully constructed this story was when I read it the first time, and when I recently recommended it to a friend, I found myself reading it again with even greater pleasure, picking up on details I'd missed the first time.

A smutty Krycek/Scully story set after Never Again and Terma, where the two antagonists are stuck in a house during a storm. The dialogue is great and hilarious in places, the characterisations spot-on with only just enough liberties to allow for the pairing.
