Summary
I don’t really know what this is or how to summarize it. It started as a bunch of unrelated stories. Some of them had been sitting in my Works in Progress folder for months. Then, when going through it one day, I noticed a pattern emerging.
All of these stories seemed to be about interactions between Jack and Phryne that illustrate their growing relationship.
I decided to turn it into a series.
It starts at the beginning of series/season 2, and the stories all follow in order. I may skip an episode or two because I don’t want to shoehorn a story in just to cover each episode and the stories are, for the most part, outside of the episodes themselves. More characters show up in future chapters. I'll be adding them to the tags as I go. I'll probably be changing the rating as I go too.
So, for what it’s worth...Chapter 1.

Summary
On an otherwise unremarkable Saturday morning in November 1929, Jack walked into the hospital morgue, hat in hand, frown on face.
Mac looked up from the body on her table in surprise. She frowned briefly, wondering what had brought him to her door today and how likely it was to cause her grief.

Summary
In 2011, DI Jack Robinson of the Victoria Police Force is getting along OK with Miss Phryne Fisher. It wasn't a smooth start, and her Private Detective Agency is sometimes a major thorn in his side, but he likes her, and he's wondering if he might be brave enough to ask her out. But the 21st Century is a dating minefield, especially if you're out of practice, and continually worried about Police Force rules, policies and procedures. But Jack and Phryne aren't that different really.
Or so Jack thinks. Until an invitation to a very special wedding pops through Phryne's letterbox....

Summary
