He didn't bother looking back down when he stepped off the ledge. He didn't think about how his mother might miss him, or if Kacchan would get in trouble. He didn't consider the consequences, even if he wouldn't live to see them(He tried to ignore the part of him that told him there would be no repercussions.).
If he was thinking though, he would probably think about how his heart felt like it was being ripped from his chest. And when he was falling, he would think about how disgusted he was at himself for losing faith in the world. And just before he hit the ground, he would have thought about how much of a mistake this was.
But he didn't think.
(Or, Izuku accidentally activates his quirk, destroys his mental health, somehow makes some friends, makes double the enemies and humiliates himself a minimum of nine times. At least, that what he would tell you. The real story is a little different.)

It was laughable, really, but his next idea wasn't the smartest because, well, buying a ticket for the next train at a random train station without checking to see where it was actually going wasn't in any way shape or form a good idea.
Which was exactly why he was on an empty train, at 3AM on a school night, having no idea where he was headed, without anyone actually knowing he was gone, after breaking out of the school in a way which was most likely illegal. For basically no reason.
Maybe Midoriya Izuku was a little bit of an idiot.
Jeno hated mornings, but maybe he could learn to like them if it meant he could see such a beautiful view again.
(Or, Jaemin drags Jeno out of bed to watch a sunrise.)
