Toby finds a wishing well and makes a wish that ends up bringing Sarah back to the Underground where she finds herself unwittingly becoming a member of a cult—a cult dedicated to the worship of an Owl Goddess. She learns that her task within the cult—as Champion—is to be the Goblin King's saviour. However, the Goblin King appears to require very little saving. Especially by her.

Sarah Williams has grown up, but the Labyrinth won't leave her alone. She goes about her day working with as kids as a therapist, looking for those who don't quite fit in this world like herself. However, her kingdom is as great and she has been given special powers and there are consequences to your actions and it's all about to catch up with her. The magical world is bigger than it seems and she'll need to team up with new friends and learn to trust old enemies and remember that not everything is as it seems in the Underground.

Summary
Underground, it is common knowledge that anyone wishing to marry the Goblin King must be victorious in a challenge set by the Labyrinth itself.
No one expected the Labyrinth to choose its young human Champion as the challenge to be bested.
As for Sarah, she’s becoming increasingly concerned by how much she enjoys defeating Jareth’s would-be-spouses with a wide range of boardgames.
It should be noted that Sarah is also an unrepentant cheat.

If Sarah Williams' reward for conquering the Labyrinth were "special powers" that defied locks, she was going to use them. Professionally. During the heist of an ancient tiara, however, Sarah discovers that not everything can be opened with a swipe of fingers. Fortunately, the Goblin King doesn't mind lending a hand.

Summary
Sarah has an ear infection. In retrospect, Sarah should probably have taken the time to thoroughly dry off after being caught in a downpour. Being distracted by the unfairness of the world and having a good dramatic door slam & bed flop about it, only allowed other, deeper and less visible unfairness to seize its opportunity. She knew this from experience, but certain Goblin-related events of the evening drove the detail entirely out of her mind.
