Summary
In these modern times, the supernatural has melded in with every day life. Monsters and humans coexist in many places, and the hunters exist to ensure this peace lasts. The great being known as a phoenix is one thought to be long gone, but there exists a guy with tears that can miraculously heal people. With him being in danger of more nefarious forces, two hunters are sent on a mission to find him first.

Summary
Ever since the undead virus decimated the world, everyone found their old lives vanish before them. Some were devastated, while others thankful: heaven or hell depending on the person. After getting separated from his mom, Neil found himself totally alone and trying to live by the rules she reinforced into him. The life on the run and dodging zombies that he knew changed suddenly when he accidentally ran in front of an SUV in the blur of almost getting devoured. He now finds himself in one of the many safe havens groups of people had formed: The Fox Den. But, to Neil, it's one of the most dangerous places he could be. To him, the people were more of a threat than the zombies.

Summary
The day Neil was discovered as an Ajin was the day whatever life he had had crumpled apart. His mom knew what they would do to him and fled with him in tow the first chance he could. Now used to a life on the run and on his own, Neil runs into a strange group he uses for temporary safety. When he finds a tight knit group where it seems more of a miracle that they can even work together, he questions whether he should return to a life on the run.
