I love these stories a whole lot. They are really funny but also about horrible things, which is the point, and it is I promise a really good point. I have no idea why this series is comfort reading for me when so much of it is sad, but it is immensely comforting. Also the writing style is so good, in that it is familiar and kind of homey but also captures a ton of depth.
