Stuart Dakin is a man who is accustomed to life going smoothly. Attractive, popular, clever and now rich, by his early thirties he is in a successful job with plenty of opportunities for foreign travel, he has a stunning top floor flat in the middle of central London and is happily married to a sweet, funny, gorgeous solicitor in family law. So when, seemingly out of the blue, his wife tells him she wants a divorce, he feels as if he’s suddenly lost a wheel on middle of the motorway, and is now careering out of control towards the crash barrier with no tools whatsoever to help him out of the situation.
