frankly this is an entirely self-indulgent collection of stories about modern female gay Cyrano and Co (Le Bret and Roxane mostly) who attend Bourgogne University. Cyrano and Le Bret fence. Le Bret studies medicine, Roxane literature, Cyrano philosophy and astronomy and whatever else. Christian is there too (studying science).

    Summary

At that the old hag flew into such a rage, she burst on the spot, and the Princess with the long nose after her, and the whole pack of Trolls after her—at least I’ve never heard a word about them since.

So, here is that word. Or, to put it another way:

Once upon a time, there was a troll king's daughter.

    Summary

Psmith was spiffed and Mike was befuddled. This in itself was not an unusual occurrence. The unsightly cove standing on his head in the middle of a grove of trees, however, had something of the eldritch about him. Perhaps it was his wispy hair spread out in the mud like diaphanous roots. Perhaps it was the way his legs kicked and waved with the breeze. Or perhaps it was the crowd of talking animals debating whether said cove was flora or fauna. (Admittedly, it was rather hard to tell at a glance.)

“If this is what comes from your Cab-horse Welfare Assurance Project,” said Mike, “next time you can count me out of it.”

    Summary

"The Matter of the Missing Shoe," intoned Psmith, "began much like the first letter of my last name: silently." Technically, thought Edmund, it had begun with a Dufflepud-shaped THUD, but of course Psmith had no way of knowing that part of the story.
