Summary
Ava is certain that this is a joke, and if not, the worst possible assignment the Time Bureau has ever given out. The assignment of monitoring Sara Lance - future threat to all of time and history, and currently Starling City's very own Black Canary - certainly isn't what she had been hoping for when she'd been promoted, but Ava's determined to stick to the non-interference rules and make the most of it. Though Sara has been known to throw a wrench into many people's carefully made plans.

Summary
She tries to think of her favorite coding tricks she’s come up with, of payphones ringing and firewalls crumbling and the look on people’s faces when they finally realize they’re in over their head, because oh, how she loves a good challenge, revels in the art of persuasion. But those memories of victory don’t last long, never do; not when there’s an unforgiving metal cage separating her from Shaw and nothing separating Shaw from the gun.
Her chest is pounding so hard it almost puts Control’s syringes to shame, and she wonders if after all of this, after so many direct threats on her life and escaping inescapable situations, something as ordinary as a heart attack might be what finally kills her.
Then there’s a subtle dip in the mattress, a tight yet non-threatening grip on her hand.
“I thought I locked that door,” she manages between breaths that are too shallow, too fast.
“You did,” is all Shaw says about it. “Now breathe.”

Summary
It started small, grunts and whines, whimpers and growls. It always started small. Tiny twitches in her hands and legs while she slept. Either it wasn't enough to wake Sameen Shaw or else she simply couldn't pull herself out of whatever dark dream-scape she was experiencing inside her mind. The tremors would become kicks and punches, the grunts and growls destined to be terrible, agonizing screams.
Sometimes Root could soothe her out of it, ease the passage to wakefulness if she got there in time. It wasn't something they ever talked about, like so many of the other things that they never spoke of, but it worked regardless of whether or not they addressed it.
