It might start with nudie pictures and jerking off to the marketing copy & still previews for paid videos on subscription sites but he always wants more, like there's badness inside him that can only be silenced with hardcore porn and getting fucked by strangers with their tubs of Vaseline in cheap motel rooms an hour outside the city where no one will recognize him.

Still, it’s nicer than he’d admit to have another warm body in the bed. Even if that body is Corey’s. Shawn had caved and got into the bed with him yesterday when they’d got back from the hospital.
Corey had just looked so pathetic; curled up on his side with charcoal still smudged around his mouth. And Shawn had been so fucking strung out from the ER, and he’s didn’t want the fucking idiot to die in the bed alone.
After a trip to the ER, Shawn shares a bed with Corey, to keep an eye on him, and he finds he likes it more than he'd planned.

‘Nah, it’s not bullshit,’ Shawn says.
Shawn calls Corey in to try out a technological advance that's been fitted to his mask. Corey's not convinced but Shawn is willing to persuade him.
