It was always silent after extermination. To experienced souls, they would continue with their not-lives in Hell, acknowledging three unspoken rules:
1. Never mind the body fluids in rivulets ending in coagulating puddles.
2. Never watch the mangled and torn body parts that decorate every surface as slowly fall apart and erase as they rot.
And most importantly.
3. Never even acknowledge the presence of the Radio Demon as he struts through Hell.
Alastor always felt like at least one of the rules didn't apply to him. And others would heartily agree on the same.

It would take a miracle to get the egg to the Dragon Queen before war broke out. But what else could they do?(AU in which the Xadian continent is much larger, the kids and their egg will be travelling together for a long, long time, and canon lays dying in a ditch along the way)
