"What are you going to do, knock me off the sidewalk?" the bastard asks, trying to sound indignant despite the fact that he looks five seconds from passing out on the street.
"I don't give a shit about you being on the sidewalk," Bakugou retorts, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary. "But if you're going to try and keep up with me, you might as well do it right."
Bakugou doesn't know Shinsou Hitoshi, general studies student with heroic dreams. Bakugou DOES, however, know the annoying ass purple haired kid who always shows up on his morning runs despite not being in any shape whatsoever.

"Izuku, who's this?" All of Inko's mothering instincts are on high alert as she studies the lanky boy beside her son. He looks tired. Hungry, too. And he keeps looking over at Izuku rather than meeting my eyes.
"Oh, this is Shinsou," Izuku replies, beaming per usual. "I mentioned him to you over the phone a few times. He's the one who just switched into our class. Is it alright if he sleeps over tonight?"
"Of course, sweetheart," Inko says, but her eyes remain on the boy. He needs more than a place to stay tonight. He needs a mother. And that's what I'll be for him.

Midoriya jokingly says, "Aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you just want to go apeshit?" Everyone's too focused on Iida telling him off for swearing to notice Shouto in his corner of the lunch table, mulling over his words.
He is tired of being nice. He does want to go apeshit.
Or: the one where Todoroki Shouto finds his personality, bit by bit, through the power of memes and friendship.

Hawks looked out with tired eyes at the crowd of worn, scarred, empty first years, somehow still sitting in front of him even after all that they've been through, and thought, What do I have left to give them? What could they possibly get from me?
"Alright, class," he said, just as he did the day before, and the day before that. His head throbbed every time he blinked. "Break day."
OR: a retired-at-24 Hawks is hired as a substitute teacher at UA and can't bring himself to teach.

"I take full responsibility for Bakugou Katsuki's violent behavior," he says, and Chizome almost drops his sandwich. Katsuki? What happened with him? I should check on him tonight. Leave a letter in his mailbox telling him to meet up or something. He would hate for all of his hard work with Katsuki, helping him sort his ideals and become a truer hero, to be fucked up by UA and their golden standard.
The man goes on to talk about Katsuki's strength, and Chizome relaxes a little. So they aren't trying to vilify him. At least, his teacher isn't.
Now that he thinks about it, isn't Katsuki supposed to be on some kind of field trip?
OR: Bakugou is kidnapped, and Chizome has a difficult decision to make.
