    Summary

1941 is the London Blitz and the year that MI5 really comes into its own with the now infamous ‘double cross’ system. The service keep tabs on suspects, root out enemy agents and try to turn them into doubles.

Anthony J Crowley is fucking great at this job. He can be sneaky, underhanded and damn ruthless but also charming and kind. It’s what makes him good at turning.

Aziraphale is just a regular Soho bookseller who loves his shop and books and good food and wine when he’s approached by a woman claiming to be MI5, wanting to recruit him for espionage. The poor man is too trusting and gets the shock of his life when he’s approached by a charming but dangerous-looking man also claiming to be MI5.

Crowley recruits Aziraphale to double cross a double crosser and Aziraphale takes to espionage like a duck to water.

    Danger, hijinks, and sex ensue.

    Bookmarker's Notes

“Oh my god. I made a vampire hunting guide. And I put it in the Cloud.” He moans pathetically. “Oh my god. I’m…” He hugs his arms around his chest, beginning to rock. “I’m a killing machine. I’m-I’m unstoppable. I can’t even—I can’t stop myself. Even when I try, I just keep…” He hyperventilates.

“I wanted to be powerful. My whole life, I wanted to have some stupid supernatural power over others. Little did I know…” He laughs maniacally. “I am the thing monsters are afraid of. Which would be fine if I didn’t really like some of the monsters.”

Still rocking, he sinks his fingers into his hair and pulls. “I belong to their world. I’ve lived in it for a decade. How can I leave? How can I stay? I should stay and-and finish it, right? Everything Van Helsing started? I have an obligation to my species, but so did Will Smith in the original ending of I am Legend.” He freezes. “Oh god, I’m legend.”

    “Does anyone know?”

Zuko picks a particularly bright star and glares at it. He can get this over with right now, just like he’s done before. “People know, Aang. I’d be surprised if anyone in the Fire Nation didn’t. It wasn’t a secret why I was banished.”

    Summary

That night, with Appa snoring next to them and Katara snuggled against his shoulder, Aang breathed and counted. He raked his mind for very little tradition, every little custom, everything he could remember about Air Nomad culture. Otherwise, it dies with me, he’d thought, suddenly terrified. It dies with me.

At ten, you become responsible for your own air bison. They’re companions for life. At eleven, each airbending child gets the chance to visit the wenwú shí of their Temple. At twelve, the standards become higher; assisting the air nuns and monks is your top priority. Thirteen, the first taste of travel; at the Eastern Air Temple, the Shēnqíng de hú will be the start of your spiritual journey. Fourteen is the age of enlightenment; with the mastering of your element, the arrows start being drawn over your skin.

It’s a long process, and a sacred one. Each age brings with it something new; with each age, something grows.

Needless to say, Aang hasn’t gotten a lot of experience with that.

Or, Aang never really stops grieving. Featuring Air Nomad culture, birthdays, and a conversation on a rooftop.

    Summary

The last thing Zuko remembered clearly was being on the bridge in the North Pole, and losing his grip on the railing with the sudden realization that offering mercy to the man who’d thrown fire at his back the last time he’d beaten him was perhaps not amongst his best ideas.

Or, Zhao takes Zuko's hand and pulls. The Spirit World is not entirely sure what to do with the unexpected stowaway.
