Yes, they have been very good friends indeed.
He’ll miss them over the break. He doesn’t doubt that they’ll still be there for him when they return— Midoriya is too stubborn to ever allow otherwise— but he’ll still miss them. He just wishes he had a day or two more to spend with them…
That wish lingers like peppermint on the back of his tongue as Todoroki’s eyes finally slip shut, and he drifts off to sleep.
They wake the next morning to an uncharacteristic chill in the air.
