Summary
It's Arthur's idea, and John calls it a phenomenally stupid one as he accepts the small notebook and pen. The first page is blank except for where Arthur has written John Doe, October 1934 in neat cursive. Underneath is a small embellishment that John would have assumed came pre-printed in the book if not for the faint smudging of the ink on the left-hand side. It is the smudge that sets his resolve: He will use it.

Summary
In the modern day, John and Arthur have been sharing a body full-time for nearly a century without aging and can trade the use of parts of their body. The supernatural and occult no longer threaten their daily life, but the ghosts of the past still haunt them both.
This has become a collection of little bits of fic that I might add to if I think of more. Primarily a vehicle for headcanons about modern-day Private Eyes.

Summary
The house before had been abandoned and broken. Tall and dark, inside and out. No lights beamed through the countless windows before he showed up. It had been lifeless and dull–an eyesore on the street, nothing more. But ever since his new neighbor resided in this house, seemingly with no trace of arrival, it had become a home. The house still had a cold exterior— a dreadful appearance that warned away visitors, keeping its warm insides protected. It reminded the man of a dusty old book with the most beautiful romance story inside. It was captivating, to say the least.

Summary
Arthur feels warm, listening to John talk to Lilly over the phone. He pictures them in the pasta aisle, cart full of fruits and vegetables and cans of all kinds. He pictures Lilly studying the shelves intently, frowning at each box before carefully selecting the one she likes best. He pictures John, pen cap gripped between his teeth as he checks each item off a carefully constructed list.
And without really making the conscious decision to do so, Arthur opens his mouth and says, “I could give you the sheet music over coffee?”
.
Or, Arthur and John go on a coffee shop date.

Summary
Rei and Kazuki had always intended to keep secrets from Miri. As much as it pained them to do so, they knew it was for the best. How were they supposed to tell their child, who they loved more than anything, what they used to do for a living? How were they supposed to tell her that they killed her father? That it was their fault her mother was dead?
But as Rei stood in a dark alley with blood splattered on his face, his arm raised with a still warm gun in his hand, and his daughter looking up at him in horror, he knew there weren’t going to be any more secrets. How did we get here?
