Harry is always the last one, the final person Louis says farewell to on the rare occasion that one doesn't follow the other.
“Bye, Lou,” Harry murmurs one more time as he wraps his arms around Louis, far gentler this time.
Louis pushes Harry away within seconds, but only to reach up and press a hard kiss against his lips. He's grinning when he steps back, the little crinkles around his eyes making an appearance. Harry has never loved anyone the way he loves Louis, and his young, naïve brain makes him think that he never will.
There's finally a note of genuine ruefulness in Louis' voice when he says, “I'll miss you.”
Louis flies off to Australia and nobody knows where he's gone.

Summary

Zayn had been born deaf and he had been laughed at since preschool. Liam refused to be his friend because he didn't want to be laughed at as well. Zayn's parents move town but when high school is about to start they moved back to Bradford.
Zayn meets Liam there who still refuses to be his friend.
So why did Liam even learn sign language if he doesn't intend to talk to the only deaf person around?
