Gosh, rereading this in my second FE3H phase is like, it's -- it's a fucking ride. I loved Edelgard back in phase 1, but I didn't really start to care for Rhea until phase 2. I liked her peripherally, but it paled in comparison to my Edelsimp. Now it's more hot dragon pope lady is hot dragon pope lady, which isn't much better, but hey! Is it too hard to ask for both of them to live?
But I digress! This fic... well, it's hard to explain. Even with all the modern eccentricities of memes 'n group chats 'n shit, it still feels like everyone is true to themselves, even if in an OOC-sort of way, you get me? Like, take out the war and replace it with a coffee shop. Now adjust everything accordingly. Well, I mean, that's what you do for every AU but there's something about OP's characterization that really jives with me.
Either way! Rheagard really smacked me in the face and came to stay. Why oh why do I ship the rarepairs?

While reading BOTV, there was always one nagging thought in my head: Melissa has two hands!! OT3!! I do not hold out hope though. I know with almost absolute certainty that NineLissa is endgame, and my OT3 heart suffers for it. But! I digress. This fic. This fic. I do not have the words to explain how much I love this. In the 20 minutes it took me to read this, this fic has shot up to become one of my favourites ever. I have thought that a friendship between Nine and Yuri would be wonderful, if they ever look past the "we both love Melissa" shaped obstacle.
AND LO AND BEHOLD. A YULETIDE MIRACLE. A fic that not only delivers on that sweet, sweet polyamory, but also delivers on that NineYuri potential! I love their scenes together so much. Two cinnamon rolls who bond and eventually fall in love with each other because they love the same person and then bring said person into their relationship as well. I'm going to cry from how precious this is.

this is just so, so, beautiful. despite being a collection of one-shots, each 'chapter' is fleshed-out and beautifully written. i love OPs take on beidou and ningguang. they are so soft. i love it.
edit: i'm a sucker for Fortune Crux but the Keqing/Mona chapter ripped my heart out. my neighbours definitely heard me squealing at two in the morning. no regrets.
edit 2: hi yes the jeanlisa one absolutely wrecked me. such a wonderful interpretation of their relationship.
edit 3: yeah, so like. if i keep on editing this with each new installation to the series, this bookmark is going to get impossibly large so you just have to trust me when i say this is one of the best things ive ever read

I love the Ningguang-is-Guizhong-reincarnated theory. If miHoYo debunks it then I am going to pull a Karen and Speak To The Manager.
But no, seriously, this is so good. The interactions between all three characters are just wonderful. Platonic soulmates Ningguang/Zhongli? Romantic Beiguang? Queerplatonic Beidou/Zhongli? I've ascended.
