“I’ve known you my whole life uncle Qrow, and this is the longest I’ve seen you without your flask.”
Qrow’s silent for a long time, and Ruby lets him think. It’s a sad reality after all, that the longest she’s seen her uncle without his flask is now a few weeks.
(( Or: A series of people finding out Qrow is sober, and perhaps in a relationship. ))

It’s at that moment he decides he’s had enough of subtlety, enough of flirty little comments that go no where.
He’s not just going to sit here and watch someone he cares about hurt so much. Can’t hurt to be a little more bold, can it?
(( Or; On his way to get a (non-alcoholic) drink, Qrow finds a very sleep deprived Ace Op in need of support. ))

When Raven gets a new phone and Qrow doesn't remember what his sisters number is, it leads to him texting a stranger. A stranger that is strangely invested in best friends dog and seems like a stickler for the rules. Although, with Qrow Branwen blowing up his phone, that might not be the case for long.

Summary
Clover Ebi, sophomore at Vale University and up-and-coming theater star, got the lead role this fall in the theater department's very romantic production of Kiss Me, Kate. He’s very excited to get the lead role so early in his college career but it’s not his ideal… While a romantic lead is nice, he’s frustrated that the role is a heterosexual one.
Qrow Branwen, Junior at the very same Vale University and newly appointed head of the theater tech department, is Clover’s quick companion during long late practices. He’s fascinating, and quite the looker according to Clover.
Can the two find acceptance in each other, navigate college midterms, and most importantly - realize their feelings???
