Yang knows her.
Yang knows her in the way her hair shines in the moonlight; black as pitch and terrible as the night.Yang knows her in the shape of her silhouette against the tree line, hiding in the shadows, silent and mysterious, and dangerous.
Yang knows her in the gold of her eyes- in the deep amber so thick and so pure, that she doesn’t suppose she’ll ever make it out, left to drown there.
Yang knows the girl who’s been haunting her dreams. Every night, the same: they don’t speak. Somewhere, music is playing. Something like violins, or cello. They dance, hand in hand, so close it hurts to breathe. They dance in the company of the trees, and those eyes drive her crazy. Those intense, beautiful, deadly eyes.
Yang Xiao Long is a half-witch living in the sleepy little town of Vale. Another year has passed, and its time for the autumnal equinox to pass. This year will be her little sister Ruby's first time joining in the festivities.
