Summary
Ever since he found out his One was killed, Thorin has blamed hobbits. Hobbits are petty, small minded and behind that politesse, cruel. With each year that passes that he cannot fulfill the promise he made to his One, Thorin blames them a little more. He's tired of being thwarted by the council, tired of the rumours of madness and he feels desperate. Desperate enough to accept the help of weed smoking wizard and her hobbit agent.
Ever since he returned to the Shire, Bilbo Baggins has hated hobbits. He drinks his tea, wears his weskit, and does what he can to help those like himself, while fighting against attitudes that haven't changed in eighteen years. He doesn't think about the letters in his glory box, nor the dagger collecting dust in his study. And he most certainly doesn't think about dwarves, not even when a weed smoking wizard comes by asking him to go on adventure.

Summary
Bucky doesn't consider his Steve Rogers problem as a problem so much as the solution he hadn't realized he was hoping for to help him through the transition from the Bucky Barnes he'd been before his accident to the new, shiny version of himself.
No, the problem isn't with Captain America and The Howling Commandos fandom.
The problem is the amount of porn Bucky managed to write and draw about Captain America before finding out that he's less than one degree of separation away from Steve Rogers. 'Less than' as in he's sitting across the table from him.

Everything Bilbo knows about curses says that being chained to a dwarf and dragged into an adventure because of it should not be enjoyable.
It certainly shouldn’t be fun.Though it’s probably because no one would describe fighting wraiths, dragons, darkness from the north, and shiny stones as fun.
Adventures are really just a lot more complicated than Bilbo had ever been aware of.
