Summary
Nico knows she likes girls, has always known she liked girls in some sort of abstract way that she didn’t plan to ever do anything about, at least not while she’s playing.
But then there’s Jack. There’s Jack who makes her feel wild and want to do unpredictable things like staying awake until three in the morning or drinking too much red wine even when they have practice the next morning; go cliff jumping or skydiving. Jack makes her skin itch with wanting and the willingness to throw it all away, burn the world to the ground. Nico has never felt this way about anything, not even hockey. She’s never felt anything so strong, and it’s an urge she won’t let herself give into.
Maybe.
But maybe she will.
