It's not the first time Snufkin's heard the words or seen this little ritual.
(AKA The Joxter learned about Snufkin after the kid ahd already disappeared, and then proceeded to spend years collecting every single child he ran across.

Summary
Now that the scary part’s over, the whole thing with the Groke seems marvellously exciting. The kind of adventures that Pappa writes about and Moomin not only lived through it, but figured out how to save the day and lure the Groke away.
But now Moomin’s thoughts keep turning towards the Groke.
Such as the fact that the Groke didn't chase Snufkin.

Summary
Moomintroll learned about Swan Maidens from Mamma. Pappa liked to tell long winded stories, of grand adventures and daring deeds that he had seen and done, but Mamma’s stories were the best, told late at night when it was just the two of them, Moomintroll curled up in the warmth of his bed with the covers tucked up close.
She told stories about a Swan Maiden who had a magical cape, that turned her into a swan, and she could fly so high and see many things of the world, and she would tell him of all the things the swan had seen.

It is not weird to want to know more about wings after your partner keeps waking you up in the morning with giant, celestial equivalents to bird wings. She just wants to help Lucifer figure out why he keeps manifesting his wings in his sleep, and there is absolutely nothing more to it.

“You,” Shoto says, picking his head up from where his screen is filled with The Worst Photograph Ever, curtesy of Shinsou, Jiro, Kaminari, his brother, and nearly everyone they know. “You are so dead to me.”
Kirishima blinks, mouth half open while Izuku mutters oh god, it’s too late, isn’t it on the other end of the phone, before Kirishima is leaning into his space to see his screen.
“Oh,” he says, in response to the photo someone in the crowd of civilians watching the fight had taken of them. “Oh, that’s-” he cuts himself off for a minute, leaning back to eye Shoto’s face while on the other side of the phone Izuku smothers what is probably a laugh, and then changes tracks.
“It’s super manly to love and support your friends,” Kirishima tells Shoto haughtily, as if this whole thing isn't his fault in the first place.

“Plus,” Mikey adds, “these dudes were getting the short end of the ninja stick from our douchebag alternate selves, and we really, really thought they’d be better off with us.”

I’m a sucker for good Donatello fic. My only complaint is that I’m still not 100-% sure which Donatello is which, although that doesn’t detract from the enjoyment.
