Summary
It wasn't as though his interest in Aziraphale was entirely appropriate. Of course it wasn't bloody appropriate. He was consorting with the Enemy, nothing about it was appropriate.

"Then you'd come for me," Aziraphale said, simply, with perfect faith.
"Of course I would," Crowley said at once, his protest collapsing in on itself.
They both went very still.

Summary
“Christ,” Hanamaki says. “Just get your little hockey player to pretend he’s your boyfriend.”
Tooru sits up at that, tousled strands of hair falling into his flushed face. “Are you completely insane?”
“I think it’s a good plan,” Matsukawa says, unerringly loyal to the end. “You’re so smart, babe.”
“It’s an awful plan,” Tooru hisses. “What am I supposed to say? Sorry I’ve been actively antagonizing you and your team for a bit, please pretend to be my boyfriend to keep my career alive, and also if you notice I get hard when you’re near me, don’t pay it any mind, I just think you’re mega hot?”
“Not exactly like that,” Hanamaki says. “But yeah, that’s the gist of it.”Tooru hits a small snag on his path to Olympic gold medalling. It's more fun to resolve than anticipated.

The thing about drowning is that you think it will be easy. Close your eyes. Swallow water. Sink. But what we don't know until the waves swallow us is that we all want to survive with more rabid desperation than we know.
You crack up on the rocks. Who's to blame? Is it you? Is it the lighthouse? Is it the ocean that carried you? Or is it the lighthouse keeper who did not see the ship approaching, too enamoured with the light. Perhaps none of you are at fault. Perhaps it was always going to end this way. You, him, the lighthouse, the ocean that carried you. These rocks that would be your graveyard.
