Summary
After very publicly (some would argue theatrically) losing his mind and murdering three young women in an unconscious state, FBI consultant Will Graham is sentenced to serve three consecutive life sentences in the notorious Shawshank State Prison. Upon arrival, he is unsettled to find himself in a cell neighbouring that of infamous serial killer Dr Hannibal Lecter. Having already spent twelve years incarcerated, Dr Lecter has established a fearful reputation for himself inside the prison walls, and amuses himself by dealing in fine contraband.
When Will approaches Lecter with an unusual request, the two gradually strike up a friendship which, over the years, develops into a powerful infatuation that will change them both irreversibly. But prison is no fairy-tale world, and there are dangers lurking around every corner - the violent captain of the guards, Jack Crawford; the scheming warden, Frederick Chilton; and the brutal gang known as the Sisters, led by the murderer Francis Dolarhyde.
And then there is the secret which Will is hiding in his cell. A secret which, sooner or later, will change everything.

Summary
Dr. Chilton decides the best way to get to the bottom of what's going on with Hannibal Lecter is to use magic. But of course, as expected, the spell goes wrong and Chilton finds himself in Will Graham's body and Will finds himself in Chilton's body. Mistake aside, our Dr. Chilton decides to make the best of the situation . . . set after Will leaves the BSHCI.

Hannibal is living in a world where every one of his wants have come true. He has Will, he has his love, and he is privileged enough to be able to witness his darkness. He has everything he could ever want, and he's happy. He thinks Will is too, until Will gives him a reason to think otherwise. He won't be left behind, he won't be forgotten about, and he'll do everything in his power to make Will happy, or he'll die trying.
