“for me…?” he remembers...parchment paper. some ink. letters written to theo. he remembers sleeping on straw, and a bakery with no bread housing a homeless man. the wintry air that came in december, the candle in his hands that had gotten cold. let me see her for as long as I can keep my hand in the flame, he'd said. “i don't know.”

Updated Note OCT2019 - I am so sorry to have abandoned this fanfic and I do want to finish it but I am unable to. AU – Still in Sengoku but instead of being the girl from 500 into the future, Asami (MC) is actually Nobunaga’s blood sister – to fall in-love with the Oda’s Greatest Enemy (at that time), Uesugi Kenshin.
With all the angst and the pain and the tragedy that’s been injected into Kenshin’s route, I can’t help but add more details to tangle this tragic and yet beautiful love story. Personally, I do like Nobunaga’s character; his personality and how they conceptualized him. So I thought, “What if she’s his sister? And her love for Kenshin would be one of the main catalysts for Japan’s unification?”
Again, this is all loosely based on history and the main lore would still be from Ikemen Sengoku but mostly, it’s just from my head. Release. Release. Release. I hope you like it! Currently working on succeeding chapters~
