Summary
The rain had thickened generously by the time Sirius had blindly stumbled into one of the shops on the side of the road. His hair hung low from the water, almost completely blocking his line of sight, and he shuddered as another biting gust of wind assaulted the back of his neck, before he quickly closed the door of the shop behind him.
He pushed his sodden strands of hair out of his eyes to see if he had at least found somewhere nice to wait out the storm, perhaps a small café or a pub, hell, he’d even take a supermarket at this point, but-
Fuck.
As if his day couldn’t get any worse, he was in a fucking bookshop.
OR
Sirius has an irrational hatred for bookshops, and during a storm, accidentally stumbles into one whilst finding a place to camp out for the night. The cosy fairy lights and ridiculously charming worker could be all he’s ever wanted, perhaps even giving him a chance for his own fairytale ending.

Summary
COMPLETE
A post-apocalyptic space AU. Sirius is a Commander in space tasked with the mission of gathering data from Earth, the planet the human race had abandoned over 300 years ago.
Remus is living his best life on Earth when a shuttle crashes from the sky.
Sneak peek:
The man grunted, a sign that he was either responding to Remus’s sarcasm with far less amusement than Remus himself, or an expression of pain. Hard to tell. “What’s your name then, eh?”
“Sirius,” he gasped, voice hoarse from smoke and crimson spitting across his lips. Ah, so he was listening. “Like the star. Crashed, not on purpose.”
Remus smirked. “Alright, Starboy, you can call me Roman then.”
Sirius coughed, a harsh noise around his words. “Pleasure, I’m sure.”
Remus hummed, a grin still playing across his mouth. He was enjoying this far too much. “Well, let’s get you patched up, since you fell from the sky and all.”

Summary
The four-by-four heaves its way down long, twisting lanes, little more than dirt tracks scuffed into the surrounding fields and hemmed in by serpentine walls of flat, grey stone. They truly are in the middle of nowhere: the countryside rushes past, all rolling green hills and vast, endless skies, and it's odious. Sirius wants to murder James with his bare hands.
Sirius and James accidentally find themselves on a Yorkshire farm during lambing season. The farmer’s son thinks that’s a bit annoying, actually.

Summary
“Leonard Bernstein was a fucking god,” Sirius says intensely, as though Remus would have fought him on it.
“I like West Side Story,” Remus offers, taking his own turn to laugh when Sirius’ looks at him like Remus has just said he thinks shag carpeting is a very admirable design choice.
“This is so much more than West Side story could ever be,” he explains reverently, gesturing with the album in a way that makes his torso look particularly ridiculous for the square expanse hugged to his chest. “This is inner turmoil, and loss, and love, and—and pure fucking love for music itself.”
“I’m not arguing,” Remus says, both hands up in his defense.
“Good, because you would lose. What’s number two?”

There’s a new neighbor across the way during Remus’ most stressful semester yet, and he’s made a...creative first impression.

Summary
It's lovely up here; all meadows dotted with wildflowers, wind-beaten tracks criss-crossing this way and that through the fields, weaving inland to the pinewoods. The sun's hot on his back as he passes ramshackle stone walls, long since crumbled to piles of ancient rubble and scree, and then the path winds downwards, still following the line of the coast until Sirius finds himself outside an old white cottage, tucked away behind the hill with a rose garden that faces out to the sea.
Sirius moves to Cornwall for the summer and meets a rude, beautiful boy who is writing a book that may or may not be about dragons.

Summary
When he's seven years old, Sirius Black has a brief encounter with a strange boy in the woods, who, in their short exchange, teaches him an important lesson about the nature of the Universe, only to then disappear without a trace.
Nine years later, Sirius, along with his two best friends, is a student away at boarding school, with a brand new transfer student as his roommmate--a foul-mouthed, astronomy nerd named Remus Lupin.
Between school, hormones, relationships, and the fact that he is keeping a (magical) secret away from everyone--Sirius' year starts to go a little off the rails.
Not to mention, there's something familiar about that Remus Lupin kid that he just can't seem to shake...
