In his eighteen years of life, Leonardo had gotten pretty used to the twists and turns of life. How often things could change (for better or for worse), or how the impossible could become reality. And, considering that he had already met alternate versions of himself and his brothers (twice!), meeting another set from yet another dimension was really no big deal at all.
At least, that’s what Leonardo kept telling himself. And yet, he couldn’t stop staring at them. Staring at him.

Summary
Oroku Saki has always seen Leonardo as a younger version of Yoshi, but until now, he's never seen the resemblance Raphael bears to him.
In his eyes, Raphael is suffering from his father's influence and stifling grasp. He will save the mutant, and give him the opportunities that Saki was never given as a young man.
Taken from his home, and family, Raph is trapped at the mercy of their worst enemy. And, as time goes on, he finds changes appearing in himself. Changes that terrify him.

As he prepares to slash a portal to the next building, Leo feels a wave of awareness shiver over his shell. He whirls, odachi raised, heartrate spiking as he searches for the cause. The roof is empty, he can’t spot anyone on the surrounding ones either. And yet the awareness only grows stronger, brushing his tuned senses.
“Hello?” Leo asks, then winces at the slight voice crack. Nothing replies, just the sound of New York traffic and normal city life.
