    Inko remembered the shy quirkless girl from her middle school, assigned to the same homeroom as her. Remembered how other students would trip her in the hallways and rip her assignments, only to accuse her of cheating off of their tests, how teachers would announce to the class the girl’s slipping grades and use her as an example of how quirkless people were biologically inferior. In Inko’s third year, the girl stopped showing up to class. And as hard as she tried, Inko couldn’t remember her name.
