Starts in the summer before Harry's sixth year. Compliant with the original storyline, but obviously, details and focus differ quite a lot.

Summary
It would feel like flying, Harry thought and looked into the abyss.
The Astronomy tower was so high and the night so dark with the moon obscured by clouds that he couldn´t see the ground. There was only darkness and even this was blurred by his tears, spilling hot and endless down over his face.
He had been ok with being different. It was nothing new to him, really. He´d always been the freak, the scrawny boy in ill-fitting hand-me-downs and then The Boy Who Lived, Gryffindor´s wonder boy with the legendary scar on his forehead, the hero of the wizarding world, prophesied to save them all or die trying.

Once upon a time, @thehankconsucc tweeted about Reverse AU HankCon and we got to chatting about what we both felt were lacking from this particular fandom genre. This isn't an attempt to fix anything, but rather, my take on the reverse AU, and what I think it could be.
So, basically, I rewrote the entire hankcon storyline from start to finish. XD AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! There's a fair few twists and turns in there to keep it interesting, or so I hope. :3

It is as if he can sense when Mr. Graves arrives to meet with him in secret. But this time the boy just stands there curled into himself attempting to pass those Godawful flyers. Something was wrong. He knew about the insults the NoMag slung at him. He knew about the vile creature who dared call herself mother. He wanted to rescue the boy. To take him away from this living hell. Graves just had to be patient. Patient he was, sinless he was not. Rage flooded his sense as the same thoughts swirled through his head waiting for his Credence to notice him. The final straw, a NoMag who thought it amusing to hit the boy. Falling in love had never been part of his plans. But plans had a tendency to fall apart.
Taking place sometime in the middle of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The android revolution fails, and Hank believes Connor to be dead. To his surprise, Connor finds him in the DPD parking garage and begs for his help. RK900 units are chasing him down to deactivate him, and Hank is his only hope.
Hank agrees to help, but Connor is forcibly recalled, dragged back to CyberLife before Hank can stop him. He chases Connor down, desperate to save him, and makes a deal with none other than Elijah Kamski himself. In exchange for giving Kamski data about human-android relationships, Connor will be returned to the DPD on loan.
Hank knows there has to be a catch, especially when he's partnered with Special Agent Perkins on an investigation into Kamski's involvement in the revolution, but he's left waiting for the hammer to fall as he and Connor grow closer...
