There are things that confuse Hizashi, like there are things that confuse his friends, his classmates, and everyone else. They’re different things; for Hizashi, he doesn’t quite get math, or why Aizawa has bags the size of his fists despite always napping, and he doesn’t get why villains feel the need to do what they do, not when they could just not.
Some things he just accepts. Some he puts away until they come back to the front of his head, and some— some he can actually do something about. It’s why he’s trying to be a hero, after all.
Then there’s some things he just doesn’t get. Doesn’t know how to even start understanding them.
Maybe this is one of them.

Greed’s seen Father. Not in this form; this vessel, that’s young and healthy and couldn’t be more than forty years old, and has red, red eyes that follow you to the ends of earth.
No, he means the form before this.
The eyes are the only part of it that have never changed.
It wasn’t pretty. He doesn’t like to dwell on the memory. It was his own fault, as most of it usually goes; his inability to just let things be. The need to know everything, because Greed figured out he couldn’t die after the first time Lust stabbed him after a petty fight, and soon after learned everything else. Who exactly it was he existed for, why the man - the someone, the something, hid away, why Greed even existed.
Greed has a lot of regrets. It doesn’t stop him from making more, though.

The stranger reaches up, pulling back his hood to finally reveal his face.
Or what used to be it.
Scales run up from under the guy’s shirt, covering most of what skin is visible; collarbones, neck, and nearly all of the guy's face from the hairline and below, save for the skin above his cheekbones. They gleam unpleasantly, as though wrought from iron and nightmares, instead of the healthy glow that Keigo knows dragon scales tend to have.
"Dabi," the guy introduces himself, a scaly hand to his chest. "Cursed with witch-inflicted Dragon Fever, Level Eight. You can get rid of this, right?"
Dragon expert. Witch. That’s Keigo.

There is little of his back that hasn’t been inked over by the time he’s eighteen; he’s long since taken to avoiding mirrors by then, and is always, always covered up.
“You just love a lot,” his grandpa had assured.
“You love too much,” Kaigaku had accused.
“What’s wrong with loving?” Inosuke demands.
Zenitsu tries not to, and it happens anyway.
Aang never looks at anyone like they’re a villain, even if they so clearly believe themselves to be, when it’s all they’re known as. Not when they steal cabbages, or commit infamous murders across the continents.
To say that it’s infuriating to have that directed at you doesn’t even begin to cover it.
In which everyone is alive, Peter has a youtube channel, Tony has four kids and counting, and everyone is getting the therapy they need.
when u get marvel cravings at 2am and have to speed write them before u get attacked by two ideas together
Outside the cracked windows, the roar of traffic and the buzz of the fast-food drive-through mix and mingle, smudging in with the summer night air and the greasy, hot smell of oil and sugar and fries.
And beside him Oikawa Tooru sits, humming under his breath now as he traces meaningless patterns on the short stretch of leather seat that separates them.
Suga eyes him subtly from his peripheral vision — studies the play of neon lights on Oikawa’s hair and skin, watches the long length of his fingers dance and skim over the seat, stares at the long length of his eyelashes that’s highlighted by gold and violet and ruby.
This is familiar, watching Oikawa do something small and trivial, waiting for him to look up.
And like clockwork, Oikawa does, his dark eyes finding Suga’s face, the small grin that curves his lips sending a telltale shiver down Suga’s spine.

Deciding to just rip off the bandage and get it over with, Suga interrupts.
"Oikawa," he says, and Oikawa’s eyes flick towards his face quickly, glinting in the blue lights, his bottom lip pulled a little between his teeth. Suga can feel Kuroo and Daichi’s eyes from across the room on the two of them and he falters for a second because it’s unnerving and also because Oikawa looks beautiful in this setting — in his suit and tie, the lights throwing sparks against his dark hair and lighting up the pretty angles of his face, his eyelashes like ink-strokes against his cheeks.

His gaze continued to drift over the familiar faces, soaking up the energetic atmosphere until the bartender finally set two glasses beside him.
“There you go, Sir.”
Daichi thanked him and was about to grab them when he spotted a lithe figure heading straight for him, his keen gaze set on Daichi like a shark lurking after a minnow. Daichi’s heart picked up speed as their eyes met, and he took a deep breath to keep from instantly breaking out in a sweat.
Really, how old am I?
“Sawamura Daichi, as I live and breathe. Looks like the years have been good to you.”
“I kill mine. You kill yours. Meet back here Thursday at eight?”
OR: Daichi, a god, gets dragged to a toga party to bring Shouyou home, but somehow ends up getting a date with Kuroo, a human.
KuroDai Weekend Day 2: Gods
' “Are you going blind?” Daichi asked on the eleventh night, when the situation had not improved at all. “Will you trip if you don’t have the light of a thousand suns to show you the way?”
“A well-lit home is a well-loved home, Sawamura,” Kuroo told him so solemnly that Daichi thought this might be an actual saying, until he googled it while lying in bed and found that Kuroo was just full of shit. '
After weeks of Kuroo leaving all the lights in his and Daichi's apartment on, their electricity bill (and their living situation) is in peril. But even with all that illumination, there may be something about his boyfriend that Daichi isn't seeing...
