After Joe leaves The Ecole Technique Officielle, his UN transport is waylaid by a mysterious man dressed all in black.
“Mr. Connor,” the man said as he released his hold from Joe’s waist and took a step back. “I’m Le Chiffre,” he said with an extended hand. Joe took it; he did not grasp it and shake it properly, but took it and held it, like a lifeline. The smile disappeared from Le Chiffre’s face then, and he covered his other hand over Joe’s. He pierced him through with those odd eyes, intensely serious. “Would you like to be my hostage, Mr. Connor?”

Soulmate AU: Soulmates find their other half when they look into their eyes. After the next time they sleep, they wake with one eye the color of their intended.
Will Graham avoids eyes. He's never wanted a soulmate, never wanted to be told by the universe who he was supposed to feel a connection to. He already struggles enough with connections, thank you very much. As a psychiatrist, he works with soulmates who have lost their other half through various means, part of a social system that regards the journey to your soulmate as the most important thing a person can do. Coerced by Jack Crawford to consult on a case where the assailant is targeting soulmates, Will finds himself turning to the notorious Dr. Lecter to gain insight on how he's choosing the soulmates to target.
Things go horribly awry when he looks into Hannibal's eyes, though. The next morning, he wakes up with one eye blue, the other maroon. He's never wanted a soulmate, least of all one behind bars for murdering dozens of people and eating them. Hannibal thinks it's delightful -it's been dreadfully boring since he was locked up.
Romance, thriller, mayhem, mystery, soulmate au with a realistic twist, and a grumpy Will Graham
Will Graham is consulting for the FBI on the case of the Minnesota Shrike, but things complicate and everything goes wrong. When he kills Garret Jacob Hobbs, something happens to him and he starts having hallucinations with the known serial killer Hannibal Lecter, who has been imprisoned on the Baltimore State Hospital For The Criminally Insane for three years.
Or, at least, Will thinks they’re hallucinations.

So when they are forcefully separated one night by the Royal Navy, who find Will and take him back to his former life, it's no wonder that Captain Lecter promises death to whoever was responsible for revealing who Will was to the Navy.
Years after their separation, Lecter hears of a Captain by the name of Will, a young man who has brown curly hair, light eyes and fair skin, who is the Captain of Flying Dutchman and sails the Caribbean seas, and he sets out to meet the new Captain, hoping that its his Will who has found his way back to the sea. Jack Sparrow gets word of the Baltic Pirates sailing south into Caribbean waters and finds himself dreading the visit from the Baltic Pirate Lord, because once upon time, when he'd been drunk, he'd given up the name of one of Lecter's people to the navy to avoid being locked up himself, and Jack's enemies always seemed to catch up with him in the end...
