Sukuna walks until he can’t see his feet. He walks until he wonders if he’d followed a hallucination all along and he’s really going to die so far from home. He walks until he can barely feel his feet, walks until his calves are shaking and he’s more certain than ever that he’ll die here.
Then Sukuna walks into a cavern lit by flames and lined with dried grass, and the pipa player extends a hand to him.
Deep in the woods, a legend is found and unmade.
If Megumi had to narrow down his extremely extensive list of things he hated, he'd have four main ones:
One: fucking vampires.
Two: being watched
Three: not knowing things
And four: Gojo Satoru.
Number four had nothing to do with his current situation, but it was worth mentioning at least five times a day and he was only at three so far.
Basically, Megumi's being followed and decides he's fed up with it. When he catches a vampire, what's a better idea than to crucify him? None. There are no better ideas than that. Megumi refuses to believe it.
He hadn't realized, at the time, how deep Sukuna's obsession ran, though. But he didn't mind.
