“Do you think,” Bill says, and there’s something strange in his voice, something wistful. “Mikey, d-do you think there’s a version of this – of us – where we don’t separate?” He looks at Mike, then, directly. Eye-to-eye. “Where...where I don’t leave?”
It's been over two months since the reunited Losers' Club defeated IT, but Mike is still in Derry. He's definitely going to leave - any day now, really! Just as soon as he figures out where he wants to go, and what he wants to do. He keeps having these weird dreams, though, about his friend Bill, and things that happened and did not happen between them.

Imagine defeating a killer clown from outer space in 2016 – or was it 1990? – just to blink and find yourself stuck in another Derry, in another year, surrounded by a group of strangers who all have the same names as the friends you’ve known most of your life.
Eddie has a hunch that getting back home won’t be as easy as ripping one monster’s heart out; he might have to bare his.
For 27 years, Mike Hanlon kept watch in the cursed town of Derry. Now, the curse is broken, and Mike is headed out to see the world - starting with a road trip from Maine to Florida. This time, it's another Loser's turn to stay behind. The Lucky Seven all survived, but not unscathed. Bill Denbrough is staying in Derry until Eddie is back on his feet.
Between Bill's writing and Mike's travels, they're both pretty busy. They still find time to text each other every day.

In the Spring of 1972, Michael Hanlon asked his friend and classmate, Bill Denbrough, to come home with him. Just for a week, he had said, oddly nervous. With my dad being unwell, we could use a little extra help with the lambing. I let my parents know I had someone in mind, but if you don't want – Bill had interrupted him there, with a kiss.
Yes, he said.
Yeah, you idiot, of c-course I'll help. And so the two of them went home together, to the small Hanlon farm.
(An AU loosely based on the film God’s Own Country.)
It started like this: Kay said, 'Wanna come over and get fucked up?' and Beverly said, 'Damn right I do,' and then she came over and they never got around to the edibles because Kay was wearing a t-shirt with no bra under it and she was drinking a glass of sangria and Beverly could see the outline of her breasts through the thin fabric. Things kind of spit-balled from there.
Beverly Rogan - née Marsh - didn't always know what she wanted. But her good friend Kay McCall was one of the lights of her life, and Beverly always felt better for seeing her.
