When U.A.’s hero class 1-A started to find binders on their desks, there were two notable things about them: one, that the analysis in them was creepy but insightful, dissecting their quirks, personalities, and relationships to the basics while providing helpful ways to reinforce, improve, and utilize them; two, included in the back of each notebook was a small, folded up letter with sweet compliments and gushing, more personal, comments about the people behind the quirks. Mina promptly dubbed the mysterious binder-leaver the “Love Letter Analyst.”
In another room, deep in the support labs, Izuku sneezed while holding a blowtorch steady for Mei.

There is a want, a need, that burns in her chest even know. It grows hotter each passing year as she watches all her favorite Heroes swoop in to save the day on the news.
“A good fox,” her Nona says after a long moment, “is a smart fox.”
Nona doesn’t continue, but Izumi knows what she means anyway. She’s heard it her entire life.
A smart fox avoids fights. A smart fox does not seek them out. A smart fox does not fight for everyone. A smart fox, when they absolutely must, only fights for themselves and what is theirs and nothing else.
Izumi, for all that she tries to be, is not a good fox.

Midoriya Izuku was born with a quirk. It appears to be a mutation, sporting black ridged armor plates along his arms, shoulders, and back, plus sharp claws and a thick tail. Strange cravings and an enormous appetite lead to a childhood incident, forever marking him as a monstrous villain to his once childhood friend.
Resolute in his desire to become a hero no matter what, an unexpected encounter with a black and white pro might give Izuku the chance he needs to prove, to the world and himself:
