Summary
A loud rumbling from the street interrupts their thoughts; there's a sleek black bike cruising down the road, turning heads left and right, and Jon scoffs and takes a sip of his drink. Just another flashy guy on his way to see his girlfriend, showing off his ride. Typical for Valentine's day.
But, much to Jon's surprise, the biker actually parks almost right in front of them. They watch as the man dismounts, puts some coins in the meter, then takes off his helmet, storing it safely in the bike’s trunk and wait holy shit that's Martin.
The gang hang out together on Valentine's Day.

"You’ve seen what you’ve done to yourself. I know you have. The way your eye glints when someone as much flinches in your presence. It’s not a game to you, is it? It’s something primordial to just hurt people. You’ve learned a new instinct since you’ve Become.
Was it worth it? Becoming this? How much of you, is you? How much of you is the thing you’ve given yourself up to?
Was your satisfaction worth losing the traits that were once human?"

"Statement of Gillian Norwich, concerning an unwanted pregnancy. Original statement given April 25th, 2013. Audio recording by Jonathan Sims, Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute, London.
Did you know foetal cells can stay in your body for the rest of your life? They can become part of just about any organ, so even if you miscarry or abort, you’ve got them wound into your DNA. Did you know that, if you’re pregnant and not getting enough calcium, the foetus will pull it out of your bones to feed itself?"
