“I wouldn’t be doing this if it didn’t work, honey. Inside of every homophobe is a queer waiting to be let out—and if they’re not willing to come out, I bring the party to them.”
“I don’t want you, filth. Not like this, not in any way.”

“Christian didn’t ask to be cared about, for it to matter to anyone whether or not he ate, slept, or showered. He didn’t want to be held through the night, amidst both nightmares and waking breakdowns. Christian didn’t leave himself open to feelings—he didn’t realize his heart was fertile ground for them. However, Chief found that shrivelled organ and smashed his way into it like he was orchestrating a police raid. He sloughed through the muck inside and carved out space for himself to fit. No, Christian didn’t fall in love on purpose—he was coerced into it.
However it came about, though, the love manifested and there was no going back. And, as Christian realized with horror, the pauses amidst a game were no longer enough for him. He wanted Chief wholly, to wrap around himself, to flaunt to others. Their relationship could be the one thing that wasn’t broken about him. It could be a better salvation than amnesia, if only he could convince Chief to belong to him fully.“
in which Chief questions his ethical identity, Christian aches with longing, and things end badly. Sorry in advance.
"You wish you could go back in time to grab your past self by the shoulders, to shake him so hard that the last of the blood runs out of his dying body. “You are about to go to Hell,” you’d say, “and they are going to give you a choice: torture for eternity, or a plea deal. For the love of god, man—don’t take the plea deal.”"
Cyrus is dead. He's okay with that. He's not okay, however, with his afterlife. He's an Agent of Hell, a lackey for the devil, and forced to work with a fellow agent named Smithers. The problem is, Smithers is as terrible of a human being as Cyrus is. He makes Cyrus' life a--well, a living Hell.
These two broken people, who would probably be happier rotting in a coffin, get tired of their (literal) dead-end job. So they quit. Disregarding the fact that quitting isn't possible in their line of work, they head off to try to make something of their afterlives. Together. Because as much as they hate each other, they need to stick together to outrun their former boss.

Follow-up to “Before the Threat Neutralizes You”, I guess can be read stand-alone too.
If it’s possible to fuck things up further, Christian finds a way. Simultaneously, Chief knows he’s dooming himself through his actions, but he can’t avoid them. Meanwhile, Smith grows increasingly worried about his partner, and Bart is doing a really bad job of being a hostage.

"You don’t remember me freshman year, do you?"
"You didn’t go here freshman year—"
"Yes I did! You just didn’t notice. Nobody did!"
Richard "Dick" Goranski is a bitter young boy with a broken family and tries too hard to steer clear of his thick lisp. Jake is everyone's favorite popular kid who just couldn't stop tormenting him for some complicated reason. Michael is an antisocial music fan who seems to be hiding something from everyone— even from his own awkward best friend. And Christine is a girl who Dick just couldn't quite figure out.
When fifteen-year-old Dick enters his first impending year of high school, he just knows that everyone will look right through him and not remember his (embarrassing) name. But coming into this stage of his life is a lot more than he bargained for and soon enough, he will find himself engulfed in the circumstances of sexual identity, secret friendships, unrequited love, the integrity of family, and the stunning truths about the people in his life.
But as long as nobody even remembers who he is, everything should be fine and dandy.
