Summary
When Rikka makes the decision to join the Andromeda Initiative she asks her closest friend to record a few logs for her to listen to in the near distant future. Her friend is less than supportive of her decision but decides to oblige, cataloging her attempts to change Rikka's mind. These are a collection of those logs. Companion piece to the story Nexus Fading by FalconStrike but can also be read alone.

If there was one thing that Ivynell hadn’t expected to happen on the day of her final recital as a student, it was definitely finding herself transported to the worst medieval-fantasy-land city in the entire universe.
Ivynell Stone was so close to becoming a valued artist--a performer with a doctorate in Vocal Performance. One more concert and she'd be singing in prestigious institutions all over the world...! Or at least she would be, if she wasn't pulled from her home rather cruelly in the worst way possible. Not to mention it was by someone who looked like they belonged at the last E3 Panel, but from about five years ago. Thrust into a world of magic, with no clue how to get back, Ivynell has to adjust to life in Thedas. But something is growing in the back of her mind--someone clearly chose to bring her specifically to this world, but why?

Summary
Killing Batman is all but impossible as he is now. Killing Batman before he becomes Batman, while slightly easier, still seems doomed to failure. You can't stop Batman by causing more tragedy.
. . . But maybe by stopping a tragedy, you can stop Batman from being conceived in the first place.
That's the theory anyway.
