Summary
The second underlined section that captures Namjoon’s attention does so because it’s accompanied by a few words scribbled in the margin next to it. It reads:
From what I understood, love was an extreme idea. A word that seemed to force something undefinable into the prison of letters. But the word was used so easily, so often. People spoke of love so casually, just to mean the slightest pleasure or thanks.
And in the margin beside it, in Yoongi’s scrawled handwriting:
Does love need to be said, if it’s already shown?
Or: Yoongi borrows Namjoon's book. It digs up some feelings.

Summary
Jimin looks back down towards the ground and scrunches his eyes shut, trying to get rid of the blue—but it’s burnt behind his eyelids. Seared into his brain. He can’t seem to stop seeing it no matter how hard he tries, and he doesn’t understand because if he hallucinated the whole thing then why does he remember it so vividly all these weeks later? Why is it back to haunt him after he thought he’d finally moved on?
(Or: There's a stranger on the train, and Jimin takes notice.)

Summary
No one really knows what happened to the Singularity. They have the ship’s data, the crew’s logs, until the scheduled transmission point just past S0-2 — they have all the indications that the mission was going as planned, until the Singularity and its crew vanished.
No one has told the crew of the Serendipity that their mission is to hunt for their predecessors, but it’s an unspoken acknowledgment that follows them around the compound, into press conferences, under the breaths of all their technicians. They’re called a rescue team by the press, and by the other squads on base, and within themselves; it’s how Jimin thinks of himself, as he straps himself into his flight suit.
A slingshot around the galaxy lands Park Jimin face to face with his own worst fear.

Summary
“I think saving your virginity for marriage is stupid,” Namjoon said, almost whining.
Jungkook huffed. “Is this always on your mind?”
“When I’m with you?” Namjoon asked, equally incredulous, “Yeah. It is. A lot.”
“What’s your best-case scenario for this conversation, Namjoon?” Jungkook asked plainly.
“Well,” Namjoon thought, “Best-case…you agree that being a virgin is stupid and then we do something about it.”
“And if I don’t agree that being a virgin is stupid?” Jungkook inquired.
“Then you keep being a stupid virgin,” Namjoon mumbled.
“Good chat,” Jungkook told him.
/or/
In a cool, 90s vintage way, Jungkook always thought he’d save his virginity for the person he married. In a normal, 2021 way, Namjoon would rather he didn’t.

Summary
And it isn’t at all lost on Jimin that this whole thing had been about Taehyung—Namjoon proposed this because of Taehyung, his Taehyung, and there was a carefully constructed plan, for Taehyung and Jungkook to fuck and for Namjoon and Jimin to watch, but it was all so thinly veiled. (“So, you’re telling me you want to fuck Taehyung?” “No, I– I mean, who wouldn’t, but– Jungkook. Jungkook could fuck Taehyung. And we could um, we could like, watch.”)
The real intention was so clear: Namjoon wanted Taehyung, and he knew Jimin wouldn’t go for it, and this was the middle ground Jimin felt was going to swallow him up.

Park Jimin sets out to get his co-worker Jeon Jeongguk together with his boss, Vice President Kim Namjoon. Not because he's promised a big promotion if they get together, or because he wants Kim Seokjin to lick the bottom of his shoe, but because he is a Good Person (tm).
