Summary
Inspired by Jane Austen's Emma. On the eve of publication of the most important article of her professional career thus far, Iris West realizes that she is head over heels in love with her best friend, Barry Allen. Trouble is she can't exactly tell him, for fear of ruining their friendship. But a weekend trip to Metropolis sets in motion a series of events which may force Barry and Iris to face some long-awaited, romantic truths. Summary
in the original Earth-1 timeline, Nora West-Allen helps her father punch the satellite with a plan in mind. Reeling off of the death of her best friend, Lia and then betrayal of her mother, her best friends, and her fiancé, Mia, Nora pays Eobard Thawne a visit and enlists his help in moving Crisis up a few years, therefore saving both her own father, and Oliver Queen. She knew it was a one-way trip. What she didn't know was that it would end up being so hard to follow through on her suicide mission, because she got a taste of what it was like to have a father, and to have her mother actually turn out to be pretty damn great.
OR
a short, season five rewrite where Nora is the all-knowing hero who is the reason Oliver could create Earth-Prime in the first place. Plus, some family fluff (no episode 17-20 barry-taking-nora-back-to-the-future BS), Iris West-Allen Love, and a little xstar because i wanted to.

Summary
On Monday, Flash catches Michelle's gaze in the hall and Michelle catches his, turns it into something dark and scathing, and throws it back. The incline of his eyebrow is asking, have you sorted Peter's shit out yet? Michelle doesn't even bother schooling into her features into an expression that could read as an answer. He's not worth her time.
And, plus, the answer is no.
She's given up all her recent opportunities to question Peter. She doesn't want to interrogate him about his life. She doesn't want him to think she cares.
Because she doesn't. Not really. The thought of caring, of being actively involved in someone else's life seems messy. Complicated. Especially if that someone is Peter Parker.
This is why she sticks to observing people quietly from the sidelines.
(Peter has been acting weird and Michelle tries not to care).
(And fails).
