The first time he sees Leslie's house, Ben suddenly understands that they're going to have to make a regular choice about where to spend their time: the frat house from hell where his roommates have a bizarre set of rules and no sense of appropriate behavior, or the hoarder house from hell where he's genuinely afraid of being crushed by a falling stack of Tiger Beat and Economist back issues.

    Summary

Grantaire’s first flower appears when he is two years old. It’s late, for a First Bloom, considering some children are born with their First already etched above their hearts, but Grantaire’s parents are warm and loving and wait to see what sort of child they have born unto the world.

His First Bloom, when it comes, is vibrant patch of yellow carnations. He is too young to know what it means, and his parents don’t tell him, just—withdraw, and a much smaller patch of yellow carnations appears on his mother’s ankle.

"In the Convention, Enjolras would have been Saint-Just." —A Group Which Barely Missed Becoming Historic

It is not Enjolras but rather Grantaire who is the reincarnation of Louis Antoine de Saint-Just. This changes very little. Wherein Saint-Grantaire gets upset about Napoleon, paints frivolous Rococo styled pictures in an age where Neoclassicism is dying into Romanticism, and drinks lots of absinthe.

"Pour Notre Honneur, a Tous" - "For Our Honor, For All"

No one listens to a woman in 1829, even one with revolutionary ideas. The country that produced Joan of Arc is surprisingly resistant to the concept of a woman speaking her mind. So Combeferre has an idea, and one thing leads to another, and soon they have a rebellion on their hands. There's a change coming, but there's also a price to be paid for it.

Or, "The one where Enjolras and Combeferre read passages from 'Rights of Man' to each other on their wedding night."

So a lovely anon approached me on tumblr and asked for this (from makinghugospin):

"Enjolras begins to respect Grantaire more, but can never imagine actually reciprocating his feelings. Grantaire's obsession with him is just too strong, to the point it sometimes makes him uncomfortable (see his cold response to Grantaire offering to black his boots.) Enjolras doesn't want to be in such an unequal relationship."

This actually got a bit personal cause it's the most perfect reflection of pretty much every romantic encounter I've ever had (filed under More Reasons R is my Spirit Animal). This is pretty much pure angst, so be warned, and enjoy xx
