Ben winked at him, his lips spreading in a charming smirk. “It’s a date.” Then he was spinning on his heel and striding confidently towards the exit before Hux could respond, leaving his eyes trained on the sway of Ben’s dark hair, more wild and ethereal after being freed from the confines of a day-long braid, and a darkened red rag dangling from his back pocket. Hux watched Ben continue to walk towards a cliché sunset backdrop, through the exit and across the parking lot to a grey truck with the words ‘SOLO AND CREW’ printed in dark blue across the door and body. Hux had expected Ben to turn and look back towards the bank when he did, and Hux wondered if he could see him through the glass, or if he had even felt Hux’s eyes on him while he walked.
“Holy shit, I have never seen two men so thirsty before in my life.”
Hux flinched at Phasma's voice; he had completely forgotten about time, let alone that he was not the only occupant in the bank.
“Shut up,” he snapped.

Working in retail isn't the worst, but working retail in a mall IS. Steve has a corner café in his city's mall, has for years, and knows quite a few of the workers. Natasha, the redhead who runs the phone kiosk; Sharon, the blonde that works the information booth; Peggy, the brunette behind the make-up counter in JC Penny. And now Bucky, the new manager of the music store.
Or, in which Steve has it bad for the new guy and doesn't realize the feeling is mutual.

He tried not to blame himself, but it was entirely his own doing. He’d been the one who suggested the Disney movies; maybe he’d been selfish about it, but it was all for Steve. He wanted to see his friend draw again, wanted to see that light and glint in his eyes that he always got while he worked. Steve, coming back from missions tired and hollow, that wasn’t Steve Rogers. Bucky hated what Captain America did to his best friend, and if he had to sit through hours and hours of what they’d missed to see Steve smile again, then he would. Bucky couldn’t help being selfish when it came to Steve. He always had been. (That he knew for a certainty.)

He loved and needed her as much as she did him.
