Izuku was so happy to be dating Kacchan. She had had a crush on him ever since they were little, and felt so lucky to be his girlfriend. She knew he was an amazing person, but he, to her surprise, was an outstanding boyfriend. He was insanely supportive, never once hiding the fact that they were together and that he was her boyfriend. He took a tremendous amount of pride in being with her, saying how smart and cool she was. It had blindsided her, to be honest. She had anticipated him being more reserved with his affections, because Kacchan was just like that, but boy had she been wrong.
Throughout middle school, he made it more than obvious that they were together. He made an effort to be open about his feelings instead of bottling them up inside, which made things a lot easier.
“Oi, Deku?” he had asked one day as they walked home from school.
“Hmm? What is it Kacchan?” she asked, tilting her head at him curiously.
“If you ever have a problem, you come tell me right away, okay?” he instructed, giving her hand a squeeze.
“What do you mean?” she asked, confused. Ever since they started dating, her bullies had left her alone, so she didn’t really have much to worry about.
“I mean, if anyone’s giving you trouble, let me know and I’ll put an end to it,” he declared, face hard and determined. “But,” he went on, his face softening a bit, “if you ever have a problem with me, with us, tell me right away, okay? I want you to be happy with me, so if you’re not happy, say so so I can fix it, alright?”
“O-oh,” she said, surprised by his words. “Y-yeah, sure, Kacchan. I’ll do that,” she finished with a smile.
“Promise me,” he pushed, stopping in his tracks as he pulled her hands up between them. “I want to be the best boyfriend for you, and if you’re unhappy... I can’t stand the idea of it. So, promise me, that you’ll tell me what’s on your mind, okay?”
“I promise, Kacchan,” she smiled, feeling tears prick at her eyes at his sincerity.
“Tch, emotional nerd,” he scoffed as he pulled her into a hug. She wiped at her eyes, sniffling a laugh.
“S-sorry, I-I’m just really happy,” she laughed wetly.
“Don’t apologize,” he told her, petting his head affectionately. “It’s cute.”
Izuku smiled at the memory.
“Oi!” Kacchan barked, snapping her from her reminiscing.
“Ah! Y-yes, Kacchan?” she asked, looking at him and giving him an awkward smile.
“Quit spacing out, you need to focus,” he chastised, face serious as he tapped the papers between them.
“R-right! Focus,” she repeated, schooling her expression to look more serious. To her surprise, Kacchan began to laugh.
“What’s with that face, babe?” he asked, giving her a fond smile.
“Ah, sorry,” she apologized, hunching her shoulders in embarrassment.
“Quit apologizing,” he said, whacking her head gently with one of their notebooks. “It’s cute when you try and look tough.”
“Hey!” she objected, face turning pink, but he just laughed at her again.
“I’m not underestimating you, by the way,” he said, placing his elbow on the table and propping his head on his hand. “You’re gonna be a great hero, y’know. If anyone other than me was gonna be the future number one hero, I’d want it to be you. You’re the only one who deserves to be number one.” Izuku was at a loss for words, too caught up in her emotions to form a response.
“Th-thank you, Kacchan,” she finally managed, her eyes pricking with tears. “Th-that really means a lot to me.”
“I know, love,” he said with a smirk. “Now fucking focus, I don’t want you slacking on your schoolwork.”
“Deku!” Kacchan yelled as he ran after her.
“Kacchan?” she asked, stopping and turning. The paramedics must have let him go.
“You dumbass!” he shouted once he got close. “What the fuck were you thinking!? You could have been killed!”
“I couldn’t just stand by and do nothing!” she argued, gobsmacked by the fact that he was mad that she saved him. “What was I supposed to do? Let you die!?”
“Fuckin- yes! You could have been hurt! What am I supposed to do when you die , huh!?” he roared, grabbing her by the shoulders.
“You’re more important than I am, Kacchan,” she choked out, tears of frustration leaking down her face. “You’re going to be the future number one hero! I’m just a Quirkless loser. The world needs you, it’ll be fine without me,” she finished, hanging her head in shame.
“Are you fucking stupid or something!?” he screamed in her face, tightening his grip on her shoulders. “You’re so fucking important, Izuku! You were the only one brave enough to risk your life to save me! Even those other heroes just stood by and did jack shit! You risked your life to help me, even though you don’t have a Quirk! You’re the type of hero the world needs! I’m still pissed at you, but I’ll be damned if I let you talk about yourself like that.”
“K-Kacchan,” she sniffled, overwhelmed by emotion.
“You’re a dumbass, but you’re my dumbass . And if you die, I’ll kill you,” he threatened, face entirely serious. “Don’t ever do that again.”
“No promises,” she laughed as he pulled her into a hug. “I’ll never just stand idly by if I think I can help.”
“Tch, don’t I know it,” he scoffed as he pulled away, glaring down at her. “You’re gonna give me premature gray hairs with your recklessness.”
“Sorry,” she laughed.
“Man, the girls in our class are really hot, aren’t they?” Katsuki overheard the short Grape headed kid say. Gah, what a sleazy pervert. Who let him into the hero course?
“Yeah, really,” the wannabe Pikachu agreed. “Who do you think is the cutest?”
“Deku’s the cutest,” Katsuki spoke up, because, come on, it was fucking obvious. “You’d have to be an idiot to not think she’s cute.”
“Yeah, that’s true,” the short bastard agreed. “And she has nice boobs. They’re not as big as Yaoyorozu’s though- wah!” he screamed as Katsuki blasted him out of his seat.
“Don’t talk about them like that, for fucks sake,” he spat, walking away from the idiots as Pikachu asked if he was okay. Gah, yeah, Deku was cute, but that didn’t mean it was okay for them to talk about her like that. Only he could ogle her body, and only because they were dating and he actually respected her. Those two idiots didn’t know shit about his Deku, so they had no right to talk about her, or any of the girls, like that.
“Hey, Midoriya,” Kaminari said as he sidled up to her desk.
“Ah, Kaminari-kun!” Izuku greeted back, typical smile on her face. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Kacchan sit up straighter in his seat, listening in on them.
“I was wondering if you were doing anything after school?” he asked, a boyish smile on his face.
“Sorry, Dunce face,” Kacchan announced, much louder than necessary, “she’s got plans.” He got up from his seat and shouldered Kaminari away, glaring at the electric blond.
“Oh?” he asked, brow twitching in irritation. “How do you know that?”
“Because she’s got a date with me,” he growled. “I mean, she’s my girlfriend .” The reaction was immediate.
“Oh! Ah, my bad, man,” Kaminari placated, waving his hands in front of him. “I didn’t know.”
“Tch, whatever,” Kacchan scoffed, looking over his shoulder at her. “You ready to go, babe?”
“Kacchan,” she pouted at him, knowing exactly what he was up to, before sighing. “Yes, let’s go.”
“Kacchan, please calm down,” she sighed, placing a hand on her boyfriend’s shoulder. They were sitting on his bedroom floor, trying to do homework, and he had been extremely agitated.
“No!” he shouted, looking away angrily. “Those extras fucking piss me off, thinking they can flirt with you!”
“Kacchan, you’re overreacting,” she huffed, shaking her head in exasperation.
“I am not!” he argued, rounding on her with a furious scowl.
“They never do anything,” she retorted, crossing her arms over her chest. “The worst is Mineta, but everyone knows to put him in his place.”
“Mineta‘s not the only one who flirts with you,” he huffed, turning fully away from her.
“Kacchan,” she sighed, crawling over to him and wrapping her arms around his waist as she set her chin on his shoulder. “Quit pouting.”
“I am not pouting!” he barked, tensing up under her grip. “Stupid fucking dumbass...”
“None of the boys in our class would try anything,” she assured him, nuzzling into his neck.
“It’s not just the boys I’m worried about,” he old her, his arms still crossed over his chest. “The girls are just as bad. I’ve seen the way Round Face looks at you.”
“Mm,” she hummed, a small smirk appearing on her face. “She does have a cute face. . . and a nice butt.”
“What!?” he barked, turning in her grasp as she giggled uncontrollably. “You fucking with me?”
“Well, she is attractive,” she said, “but don’t worry, Kacchan,” she soothed, kissing the tip of his nose. “I love you more than anything, ‘kay?”
“Mmm,” he grumbled, scowling at her.
“Do you forgive me?” she pouted, sticking out her bottom lip and blinking up at him. “Pwease?”
“Mmn,” he grumbled again, although she could see his resolve breaking.
“Pretty please?” she asked, nuzzling his jawline with her nose. “Please, baby?” She felt him stiffen up in her grasp, and she knew she had him. He was a sucker for being called pet names, as much as he tried to deny it.
“Tch, stupid Deku,” he scoffed, finally embracing her back. She smiled to herself as she snuggled into him, relishing in his warmth.
“Thank you, sweetie,” she purred, settling into his lap. “You’re the best.”
“Kkh, whatever,” he scoffed again, holding her against him as he got comfortable.
“Yeah! Deku! Kick his fucking ass!” Kacchan yelled from the stadiums, scaring most of the people nearby. Izuku felt a bead of sweat drop down her forehead but smiled fondly anyways. She waved at him before turning back to her opponent, Todoroki.
“Is he always like that?” he asked, his expression still blank.
“Yeah, pretty much.”
“Beat that Half’n’Half bastard into the ground, babe!”
“Charming,” Todoroki said.
“Isn’t he?” Izuku smiled at him, a blush appearing on her cheeks. Todoroki shook his head in disbelief at the way her face pinked at Bakugou’s words. How could someone so sweet be with someone. . . like that?
“Fucking destroy him!” This time, Izuku actually let out a peel of laughter, waving fondly at him in the stadiums. Despite the distance, Todoroki could plainly see the wide, vicious smile on the ash blond’s face. He was a little scary, even frightening their classmates away with how he was acting. But Midoriya seemed to adore him, for whatever reason. . .
“Deku,” Katsuki cornered her after her fight with Todoroki, finding her covered in bandages. He had his hands shoved in his pockets, as usual, and he had a carefully blank look on his face.
“Ah, h-hey, Kacchan,” she greeted, bowing her head. “Guess I won’t be facing you in the finals, huh?”
“Guess not,” he said solemnly, slowly stalking over to her. “Are you okay?”
“Hmm?” she asked, lifting her head up to look at him. “Oh, yeah, I’ll be fine, nothing that won’t heal.”
“Mm,” he nodded, looking her over. He reached a hand out and rested it on her hip, caressing it with his thumb. He stepped closer to Deku, resting his forehead against hers, remaining silent the entire time. She closed her eyes and leaned into him as well, both of them content to remain silent together. They stayed like that for who knows how long, until Katsuki spoke again.
“I’m pissed that we won’t be fighting against each other in the finals,” he mumbled, moving to prop his chin on top of her head. Her giggles sent vibrations through his chest, causing a smile to appear on his face.
“Don’t worry,” she assured him, “I’ll kick your butt another day.”
“Excuse me?” he asked, a smirk appearing on his face. “In case you don’t remember, I’m the one going to the finals, not you.”
“Doesn’t mean I won’t beat you the next time we face each other,” she teased, poking his chest. He placed his mouth on her neck and blew a raspberry against her skin, causing her to shriek with laughter. He wrapped both his arms around her waist to prevent her from getting away, keeping her pressed against him.
“Kacchan!” she squealed, pushing against him as he tickled her. They laughed easily together, unaware of the person approaching them.
“Midoriya, I, oh...” Todoroki trailed off upon seeing the couple. Deku’s face went bright red as she straightened up, giving him her full attention.
“Ah! T-Todoroki-kun!” she exclaimed. “D-did, uh, did you need something?”
“It can wait,” he said, giving Katsuki a dead stare. “I can see you’re busy.”
“About fuckin’ time you realized that,” Katsuki scoffed, keeping his arm firmly wrapped around her waist. “Now would you kindly piss off? I’ll beat your ass in a bit.”
“We’ll see,” Todoroki responded before turning and walking away.
“Did you have to be so rude?” she asked with exasperation.
“Yes,” he responded curtly, causing her to scoff, although a smile was on her face.
“You’re impossible,” she sighed, leaning into his chest.
“You love me,” he chirped proudly, kissing the top of her head.
“I do,” she agreed, tilting her head up to kiss under his jaw. “Now, you go get ready for your match with Todoroki-kun. Good luck,” she said, finishing her statement by giving him a quick peck to the lips. “Bye Kacchan!”
“Bakugou-kun,” Uraraka pipped up, a large stack of papers in her arms.
“What the fuck do you want?” he snapped, leaning against the wall near their classroom entrance. Her face pulled into a frown, her brows furrowing in irritation.
“Why do you always have to be so rude, Bakugou-kun?” she asked, voice exasperated. “I don’t know why Deku-kun puts up with you.”
“Because she’s too fucking nice for her own good,” he scoffed, face impassive as he thought about his Deku. “I don’t know what it matters to you though.”
“I just don’t like seeing her get bullied by you,” the anti-gravity hero quipped, frowning at him. “Just because she’s too nice to tell you off doesn’t mean I am.”
“You trying to start something?” he asked, pushing off the wall and stalking over to her, towering over her smaller form. “Do you need me to remind you who kicked your ass at the sports festival?” She scowled at him, her usually calm face contorted angrily as she shouldered past him and into the classroom. She set the papers down on the desk and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, when she heard people talking outside.
“Kacchan! I’m back!” she heard Deku call out to her boyfriend. “Sorry to keep you waiting,” she apologized, a smile no doubt on her face.
“No worries, babe,” he responded gently, surprising Uraraka.
“Is everything okay?” she asked, concern evident in her voice. “Did something happen?”
“Nah, it’s nothing, don’t worry about it,” he brushed off.
“Are you sure?” she asked, voice gentle and soothing. “You know if something’s bothering you, you can always tell me.”
“I know, babe, thanks,” he said, followed by the faint sound of him pressing a kiss to her temple. “Deku. . .”
“Hmm? What is it, Kacchan?” she asked.
“You know I love you, right?” he asked softly, almost shyly.
“Wha? Of course I know that, Kacchan,” she laughed kindly. “I love you too.”
“Yeah, I just wanted to make sure you knew,” he replied. “Now c’mon, dumbass, we’ve got school work to do.”
“Haha, okay Kacchan, I’m coming,” she laughed as she followed after him, their footsteps growing softer and softer. Uraraka felt as if something was different now. . . She had never seen such a soft side to Bakugou, maybe he wasn’t as big of a jerk as she first thought.
“Oi, Deku,” Kacchan called for her, causing her to turn at his words. Before she could even open her mouth, he leaned down and gave her a smooch on the lips before casually walking away, not saying a word. She felt her face turn bright red as she ducked her head in embarrassment, a giddy smile spreading across her face.
“I never took Bakugou to be one for PDA,” Iida commented, watching as her boyfriend walked to his own group of friends.
“Mm,” she hummed, nodding her head as she bit her bottom lip. “Isn’t he great?”
“It’s surprising,” Uraraka said. “But it’s honestly pretty sweet, seeing this side of him.”
“Who would have guessed that the winner of the sports festival actually had a girlfriend?” Monoma said loudly, drawing everyone at her table’s attention. “Especially since he’s such a pain in the ass. Please,” he scoffed, leaning against their table, “you could do so much better.”
“Are you saying you’re the better option?” Uraraka asked, cocking a brow at the 1-B boy.
“Well, obviously,” he smirked, looking down at them haughtily. “She belongs with someone better.”
“Not that she belongs to anyone, but she’s my girlfriend, and if you touch her, I’ll fucking kill you,” Kacchan’s voice came from behind Monoma. He had an aura of darkness and murderous intent emanating from him that made everyone shrink back in fear. Hell, it even made Izuku a little nervous.
“Oh, so the barbarian can speak,” Monoma jabbed, although his voice wavered slightly. “I’m surprised they didn’t keep you chained up after the festival.” Izuku tried not to show it, but Monoma was really starting to annoy her.
“You wanna lose some fuckin’ teeth?” Kacchan asked, cracking his knuckles and letting off a few small explosions. Despite her anger, Izuku decided it would be best to try and reel in her boyfriend. She walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder
“Kacchan, calm down,” she told him gently. “He isn’t worth it.” Kacchan seemed to relax just a bit, until Monoma opened his mouth again. The boy just had a knack for getting under people’s skin.
“I guess your girlfriend has low standards if she’s willing to date an animal like you,” he went on, causing Kacchan to grit his teeth in anger. “She must be no better then.”
“Don’t talk about her that way,” he growled, his voice low and deadly.
“Kacchan,” she warned, digging her fingers into his uniform. “Stop, he’s not worth it.”
“Tch, how can you keep such a level head?” he barked at her, irritation evident in all his features. To everyone’s surprise, she turned to Monoma with a blank but icy stare, unnerving even Katsuki.
“Because I don’t waste time on people who have more dick in their personality than they do in their pants.”
“Oh shit!” the BakuSquad yelled, followed by loud ‘oooooooooooh’s from everyone else. Kacchan was laughing so hard that he was hunched over from the force of it.
“Oh, my god, babe,” he laughed, finally managing to right himself. “I fucking love you.”
“Thank you,” she giggled, leaning into his now relaxed form.
“Take that, dickhead!” he yelled at Monoma, flipping him off as he cackled.
“You’ll pay for this!” Monoma declared, pointing an accusatory finger at the two of them.
“Sorry, I couldn’t hear your bitching over the sound of how awesome my girlfriend is!” Kacchan whooped, laughing maniacally as Monoma turned tail and ran.
“Bro, are you okay?” Kirishima asked as he stood by Katsuki, who was watching Deku work out while being spotted by Iida. “You’ve been staring at Midoriya for, like, ten minutes! What’s up?”
“Nothing, I just like watching her,” he shrugged, not taking his eyes off of Deku.
“For such a cute girl, she’s really well built!” the red head commented.
“Mm,” Katsuki nodded, “Deku’s sexy and adorable at the same time, it’s both a blessing and a curse.”
“Hahaha!” Shitty Hair laughed, slapping him on the back. “Yeah, I can see that. Loads of guys don’t like muscular ladies.”
“For real?” he asked, giving his friend a confused look. “What’s hotter than a partner who looks adorable but can still kick your ass? I’ll tell you what, nothing.”
“Hahaha! I feel you there!” the other teen agreed. Once he saw Deku was done with strength training, he made his way over to her.
“Hmm? Oh, Kacchan! Hi!” she greeted, walking over to him and giving him a peck on the cheek. “How are you?”
“Mm, I’m good babe,” he nodded. “Wanna spar?”
“Oh, sure!” she said, walking over to a sparing mat. “No Quirks, right?”
“Sure,” he nodded, getting into a defensive position. The two fought for a while, motions so fluid it was almost like they were dancing. They worked up quite the sweat, and while they were in equilibrium for a while, Deku eventually pinned him.
“Hehe, I win,” she panted, wisps of her hair sticking to her flushed and sweaty face.
“It’s so fucking hot when you kick ass. Even if it’s mine. God I love you,” he panted out, a lazy smile on his face. As per usual, her face turned pinker under his praise. She got off of him and offered a hand to help him up, easily pulling him to his feet.
“Wanna go another round?” she asked, flashing her trademark smile. She was like a walking ball of sunshine.
“Nah, let’s grab something to eat,” he said. “Shower then meet back in ten?”
“Sounds good!” she chirped.
“Alright,” he said, smacking her on the ass. “See you in ten,” he called as he walked away from his red faced girlfriend.
“For the last time,” Katsuki growled to the villains that held him hostage, a sneer on his face, “you can take your offer and shove it up your ass!”
“Oh come now,” Hand Face cooed, his voice sending disgusted shivers up his spine. “You belong with us. You’re different from the rest of those wannabes, you could be so much more with us.”
“Go throw yourselves into traffic!” he snapped, spitting in the villain’s direction. “I’m not joining your shitty group!”
“What’s stoping you?” the man asked as the other villains leered at him. “You want power, don’t you? With us, you could become more powerful than All Might!”
“Why would I want any of that when I have Deku?” he sneered, his fists clenching in his restrains.
“Deku?” the man asked. “Aaaah, that little green haired brat. Please, she’s only holding you back!”
“Eat shit!” Katsuki roared, thrashing around in his restrains. “I would rather die than betray my Deku, so fuck off!”
“He’s a stubborn one, eh?” the only girl in the room commented from her spot at the bar. “Maybe I can, y’know, convince him?”
“You come near me and I’ll rip your fucking throat out with my teeth,” he threatened, glaring daggers at the blonde.
“Oh come one,” she scoffed with a smile, rolling her eerie yellow eyes. “She’s cute, but I’m cuter.”
“You saying you’re better than Deku?” he asked, laughing at the comment. “Hahaha! Oh, you’re serious? Are you stupid or something?”
“I don’t think we’re gonna crack him this way,” the all black man said, his jaw moving as he spoke.
“About time you fucking realized,” he scoffed, glaring at everyone in the room. “Deku and I are going to become number one heroes together , so you can take your offer and shove it up your ass.” He needed to think of a way out... he had to get back to Deku and the others.
“Kacchan!” Deku yelled above him, shooting across the sky with IcyHot and Glasses. He felt as if time slowed down as he let off the biggest blasts from his palms that he could muster, launching himself into the air after them. As he neared them, he reached for her outstretched hand and they grabbed each other, holding on for dear life. Once they landed, he pulled her in to an embrace so tight that he was slightly worried he was going to hurt her.
“Kacchan,” she cried into his shoulder, her hands trembling as she clutched the back of his shirt.
“Deku, you fucking idiot,” he choked out, burying his face in her hair to hide his tears. He couldn’t tell who was shaking more, him, or the girl in his arms.
“I was so worried about you,” she told him, burying her face deeper into his chest. He took a shaky breath as he tried to ground himself, exhaustion washing over him.
“Hey, Deku,” Kacchan greeted as he shuffled into her dorm room, a tired expression on his face.
“Hi Kacchan,” she smiled back from her new desk before looking at her clock. “You’re up late.”
“Mm,” he grunted as he walked over to her. He tugged on her as he worked his way behind her on the chair, wrapping his arms and legs around her as he hid his face in her neck. She giggled fondly to herself as he attached himself to her from behind. “Fuckin’ tired.”
“Yeah,” she smiled to herself, “it must be hard being that pretty.” He didn’t respond for a moment, although she could feel some added heat against her face, before he spoke.
“Then you must be exhausted,” he spoke, causing her face to heat up. She ducked her head in embarrassment at his statement, because wow that backfired on her.
“Why are you here?” she asked, before adding, “n-not that I’m complaining! Just curious.”
“Couldn’t sleep,” he sighed, leaning all his weight against her.
“Nightmares?” she asked softly, reaching a hand back to gently scratch the back of his head with her nails. He sighed again as he nodded against her, his arms tightening around her middle. “Wanna sleep here tonight?”
“Mm,” he hummed, keeping quiet against her.
“Okay, Kacchan,” she nodded. “Do you want to go to bed now?”
“No, you can finish what you were doing.”
“Okay, I’ll be done in a little bit,” she informed him happily as she went back to scribbling down a few more notes. After about fifteen minutes, she set her pen down and stretched her wrists out.
“Okay, Kacchan, I’m done,” she said, awaiting his response. All she got in response was soft, even breathing. “Hmm? Kacchan?” she whispered this time, again receiving no response. She smiled to herself as she tucked her hands under him and stood up gently as she carried him to her bed. She carefully set him down on her bed and maneuvered him so he was in a comfortable position. She changed out of her clothes and into some pajamas before crawling into her bed beside him. The threw the blankets over them, her more-so than Kacchan because he naturally ran hot, and cuddled up against him. They slept peacefully together.
“Hey! Good morning Deku-Kun! Bakugou-kun!” Uraraka greeted, a smile on her face.
“Good morning Uraraka!”
“Piss off, stupid Round Face.”
“Well, someone’s grumpy,” Kirishima laughed, watching as the two of them shuffled into the kitchen. Izuku’s hair was an even poofier mess than normal, and Kacchan’s hair was flattened and spiked in an abnormal way. Izuku was wearing one of Kacchan’s big hoodies that hung around her mid thighs and smiled at her friends.
“How is everyone?” she asked, rubbing at one of her eyes.
“Awe, Deku-kun is so cute,” Uraraka cooed, pulling her into a hug. Izuku almost purred from the warmth she provided, which only made the anti-gravity hero giggle with happiness. “Haha! Kawaii!”
“God could you shut the fuck up?” Kacchan snapped at Uraraka before stomping over and yanking Izuku from her grasp. “Stupid mother fuckers, can’t keep the goddamn noise down,” he grumbled as he tucked her under his arm and stomped over to the coffee pot. “Need some goddamn coffee.”
“Wah! Don’t hog Deku-kun all to yourself, Bakugou-kun!” Uraraka whined.
“Piss off!” Kacchan shouted. “Get your own girlfriend!”
“Man, someone’s cranky,” Kaminari commented under his breath, which made Izuku giggle.
“What’s so fucking funny?” he barked, pulling her into a head lock.
“N-nothing! Nothing!” she laughed despite herself. He grumbled and let her up, holding her against his chest as he poured himself a cup of coffee. He rested his chin on top of her fluffy head and took angry gulps of coffee, occasionally muttering curses under his breath.
“So, how did you sleep Kacchan?” she asked as she cuddled against him.
“Like a fuckin’ baby, thanks,” he barked loudly before taking another swig of coffee.
“That’s good,” she smiled as she gently swayed in his arms.
“Mmn,” he grumbled, brooding as he let the coffee work its magic. She laughed to herself as he pulled her over to the cabinet and began to grab ingredients to make himself breakfast.
“How did you even meet her?” Kirishima asked curiously as he and the rest of his so called friends hung out in the common area.
“Hah?” he asked, giving him a confused look.
“Midoriya,” Kirishima reiterated. “I know you two are childhood friends, but, like, how did you even get together?”
“Yeah,” Sero pipped up. “She’s so nice and you’re so. . . You.”
“Eh?” he asked as he rose out of his seat, sparks going off in his palms. “What’re you trying to say, tape face?”
“Nothing!” the black haired boy laughed off, putting up his hands in a placating manner. “Continue.”
“Tch,” he scoffed, settling back in his seat. “Why should I tell you assholes?”
“C’mon bro!” Ashido whined, pouting at him. “Spill!”
“Fine, fine, fucking hell,” he sighed as he recalled how he asked out his current girlfriend. “It was when she was being bullied by a couple of asshole nobodies. . .
“P-please, l-leave me alone,” middle school Deku begged from her spot in the corner, her legs trembling and tears falling down her face.
“Shut up, Quirkless!” the leader of the four bullies barked a laugh, the others laughing along with him.
“P-please,” she continued to beg, screwing her eyes up tight as she hid her face. “W-whatever I did wrong, I’m sorry!”
“Hey!” Katsuki barked, startling the five of them. “Leave her alone!”
“Crap, it’s Bakugou!” one of the lackeys fretted as they began to back off.
“Let’s get out of here,” another said, quivering in the presence of the ash blond.
“Grr,” the ring leader growled before glaring at the green haired girl, “we’ll get you later!” he threatened before they all turned tail and ran. Katsuki fumed as he watched them go before turning his attention to his best friend.
“You okay?” he asked, gently placing his hands on her arms. “They didn’t hurt you, did they?”
“N-no,” she said, shaking her head. “They just sh-shoved me into the corner a-and pulled my hair,” she sniffed as Katsuki seethed with rage.
“What?” he demanded, anger burning in him. “Those damn bastards, I’ll make them pay!”
“N-no, Kacchan, it’s fine,” she said, tugging on his hands.
“Tch, fine,” he scoffed, rubbing his thumbs along the back of her hands. “You know, I can protect you.”
“I know, Kacchan,” she laughed wetly, smiling at him. “You’re my hero!”
“W-well,” he stammered, looking down at his feet, his face turning red. “I-I want to be your only hero, y’know?”
“Eh?” she asked, confused.
“Grr, I want you to be my girlfriend!” he shouted at her, startling the poor girl before her entire face turned red.
“What!?” she asked, steam rising off of her cheeks. “Wh-why?”
“I-I don’t know why!” he shouted, frustration bubbling inside of him. “I just want to! So be my girlfriend already!”
“W-well,” she stammered, calming down a bit. “I-I guess I can be your g-g-girlfriend,” she admitted shyly, looking down at her feet as well. Katsuki fought off a smile as he cleared his throat.
“Tch, obviously,” he scoffed as he turned and began to tug her down the hall. “Now c’mon, dumbass. Since I’m your boyfriend now, I’ll have to walk you home.”
“But Kacchan always walks me home. . .”
“And that’s pretty much how it happened,” he shrugged, looking around at his friends. He was maybe omitting the more embarrassing parts for him, but that’s how it went down.
“Awe!” Ashido cooed. “That’s so cute!”
“You really were a Knight in shinning armor!” Sero teased.
“Yeah, she was pretty helpless back then,” he recalled. “Not like now, now she’s a kickass machine.”
“Guess that was a pretty big blow to your ego, huh?” Kaminari asked in jest.
“No, not really,” he answered. “It was a bit of a shock yeah, but let’s be real. It’s way hotter that she can kick ass. Suck it bitches, Deku’s mine.”
“What?” Deku’s voice came from behind him, causing him to turn to the sound of her voice.
“Just bragging about you,” he smirked at her as she walked over to them, pink colouring her cheeks.
“Mm,” she hummed as she leaned over him to peck him on the lips.
“Way to rub it in, guys,” Ashido bemoaned as they parted. Katsuki smirked as Deku walked away red faced. Life was good.
“Kacchan!” Izuku scolded as she came into the kitchen one morning to find her boyfriend with his hand in a cookie jar. “Sato just made those!”
“So?” he asked, shamelessly shoving a cookie into his mouth. “They’e fu’gin gud.”
“You can’t just eat food that’s not yours!” she scolded as more of their classmates trickled into the common area.
“Fuck you I can,” he dismissed as he casually ate another cookie.
“Since when do you even eat cookies?” she asked, knowing that he didn’t particularly care for sweets.
“I’m pregnant,” he excused as he munched on another cookie, and she snorted despite herself.
“I’m sorry, what?” Kaminari asked from behind her, the news a shock to his sleep addled brain.
“I’m pregnant,” he repeated as he finished the cookie and reached for another one. “Leave me alone.”
“Kacchan, you’re a man!” she exclaimed in exasperation.
“Your point?” he asked, looking her in the eyes as he stuffed another cookie into his mouth. She couldn’t help the laughter that escaped her lips as he shoveled another cookie into his mouth, his cheeks reminding her of a chipmunk. She loved him.
“Kacchan?” she asked one day as they were studying in his dorm room.
“Yeah?” he asked, not looking up from his paper.
“Do you love me?” she asked, cocking her head to the side. He raised his head slowly and gave her a blank look as she blinked innocently at him, awaiting his response. She squeaked when he tackled her and kissed her passionately, stealing her breath away. His lips moved expertly against hers, knowing every right way to make her insides melt. As they were beginning to run out of air, he pulled back as they both gasped for breath, panting heavily.
“Does that answer your question?” he asked, cocking a brow down at her.
“Hmm,” she hummed in faux contemplation, looking away as she pursed her lips. “I dunno,” she drawled, “I think I need some more evidence.”
“I can do that,” he smirked down at her as he clasped her chin between his thumb and forefinger. She giggled as he leaned down and pressed their lips together again. She never had any doubts before, and she was sure to have none now.
Katsuki was cuddling with Deku in her bed, watching as she slept soundly in his lap, her head tucked under his chin. Her chest rose and settled softly with each breath she took, showing just how deep her slumber was. He smiled privately to himself as he subtly inhaled her scent, the smell of coconut hitting his nostrils. He gently stroked her arm as she subconsciously cuddled into him, seeking out his warmth.
“I love you,” he whispered to her, pressing a kiss to her soft green curls. “I love you, Deku.”
“Mm,” she stirred in her sleep, wrapping her arm around his middle. “Kaacchan. . . mm.”
“Cute,” he murmured, wrapping both arms around her. “I love you Deku. The way I feel when I’m with you. . . I feel like I can do anything. You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, I’m a better person when I’m with you. I want you, and only you. . . I love you so much.”
“I love you too,” she mumbled, causing him to freeze. She lifted her head up at him and gave him a sleepy smile. “Hi.”
“You were awake?” he asked, feeling his cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
“Mm,” she nodded. “Why haven’t you kissed me yet?” she asked, smiling up at him lazily. He scowled at her and grabbed her face so he could kiss her angrily, embarrassed at having her listen to his ramblings.
“Shut up,” he grumbled. She giggled and pressed another kiss to his lips, cradling the back of his head. He felt himself relax as they kissed, unable to stay mad at her for long.
“I love you too, Kacchan,” she murmured between kisses, her smile pressed against his lips. “You’re wonderful and amazing and I love you so much.”
“You’re the one who’s amazing,” he grumbled to her, cradling her face between his hands. She turned her head and pressed kisses to his palms, which may or may not have made his cheeks heat up in embarrassment. The fact that she was willing to kiss the most dangerous part of him, the part of him responsible for destroying every obstacle in his way, it made his heart flutter.
“I love you, Kacchan,” she beamed at him, her cute, smiling face proving too much for him. He kissed her soundly on the lips again, as she giggled uncontrollably.
