Redemptions of a Drug Addict.

Chapter Text

Warning! It's deep first, but then it gets better. Please tell me how I did.

Depression is a disease. Most people treat depression as a joke, I mean, it’s funny right? Someone feeling so self-loathing or feeling terrified and alone is great! Let’s laugh about it, c’mon, it’s just a joke right?

Not a joke.

Humans are so emotionally constipated we only have three out-lets for our feelings;

Deniyal, Lashing out uncontrollably, and covering things with addictive tendencies. When I was younger I would wear my heart on my sleeve, un-afraid of the consequences. I would look at some-one and say, “No...This is how I feel.” And be able to state my feelings. As the years went by that faded. The constant pressure to feel socially accepted by my peers built up, I kept letting myself get shut-down and ‘put in my place.’ I became so introverted and full of pain. I hated it.

Then I remember turning to the internet. There were people like me, who wanted to disappear. Others like me who felt judged for the way the looked, what they liked and who they liked. I found a community. Anime was something that I had always grown up with, but when I actually started paying attention to the characters and getting a deeper sense of communication, I realized that a fictional character could relate to me more than my family could. It became my escape. But I ended up relying it on too much. So naturally when I got grounded and all my electronics were taken away I panicked. I had become emotionally codependent with Characters from a Manga series. Then the worse thing happened. I was introduced to drugs and alcohol. They quickly filled the hole in my heart and I began to use and use until I forgot about my problems. All the things I did love became everelent. All that was on my mind now was, ‘I could use a smoke’ or ‘I wonder what my Mom will do when she realizes I watered down her whisky. Will she notice?’ All the love for anime went out the window and was replaced by an unhealthy obsession with drugs. As the years went by, I didn’t realize how far gone I was. Everything changed when I overdosed. And when I woke up I was face to face with Someone I thought wasn’t real.

Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia.

As angelic as he was, I wasn’t thrilled, but waking up in a fictional character’s room naked was something I really wasn’t in the mood for. And neither was having a scales, wings and a tail. I did what any other person would do in that situation. I sighed deeply, looked around for a cigarette before saying, “Why the hell am I here? And I um...Do you potentially have any alcohol?” Let’s just say The pour boy fainted and I was left naked, hankering for a beer and more than confused. But then the strangest voice spoke softly,

“You need the help. This is only to help.” It was low and familiar, a voice I without a doubt had heard before.

“Fuck your help, I don’t want it. I was just fine on my own.” What I said wasn’t convincing and I didn’t care, I just wanted to be dead. There was a long silence before the voice spoke again sternly,

“These people will help you just like they did in the past. Just open up and let it in.”  Without hesitance I spat back,

“I don’t need any-one, I-” My body glowed a silver color making me sleepy.

“You shall thank me later. But for now, you must rest.” And like that I was out. And when I woke up next, I wouldn’t believe my life, but for now I was passed out and generally disappointed with everything. I was angsty and had no space for fun.

“Just remember,” The voice echoed, “This is to save you.”

My only thought was, ‘how can a bunch of anime characters save me when they don’t even exist?’ I thought it was stupid. I didn’t take any of them seriously. But hey, maybe this is one sick trip I got off my drugs? Maybe I could have fun with it?

My mind shut off as I slipped into unconsciousness. I wasn’t in store for what was going to happen next.

Alrighty! I'm going to need a brave volunteer to help fill in a character gaps and If you want to be a volunteer leave a comment!

Please let me know how this is, constructive criticism is good.

Chapter Text

Izuku woke up with a sigh. "What an odd dream." He said as he picked himself off the ground, "There was a girl- a dragon girl who-" He was interrupted by the sound of a snore, "landed on top of me..." He looked at he bed only to see said girl lying on her back sleeping soundly, "And she was..." Izuku went next to the bed and grabbed the blanket, "Naked." He peeled the covers back only to blush and squeak, "Yup! She's real! And Naked!" With closed eyes, Izuku put back the blanket and hyperventilated.

This had to be a dream, had to be a dream.

His eyes flickered to her resting form. "A dragon girl...I wonder...Are those scales?"  Izuku tentatively reached a hand down and touched some of the golden scales on her wings. What he wasn't expecting was a small grunt in response. And then after a few more touches, she opened her eyes. Her very golden eyes. She had diamond shaped pupils and he couldn't help but notice as her eyes widened at the sight of him. They had an intense eye staring contest until he broke it.

"Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya, and you are?" He really hoped that she didn't catch him checking out her body like that, because he couldn't help but stare at her beauty...but...she was unconscious and doing that could be considered illegal. Izuku shivered then smiled nervously when she looked up at him hesitantly than smiled,

"Charlie. Charlie McLaren."

"That's a western name! You're not from Japan are you?" Charlie looked up at him,

"I'm in Japan?"

                                                                                            Charlie's P.O.V.

Oh shit, this wasn't a dream. I was in Japan, I was in My Hero Academia, and I was in Izuku's bed room. I felt a headache coming on. Fuck I needed a cigarette.  'Play it cool.' I thought before asking,

"Do you perhaps know why I'm here? Because I honestly don't know."

"Sorry Charlie-san, I have no idea." Izuku mumbled before saying, "If anything I feel like I should be asking you questions, you fell on my lap naked!"

"Naked?" I echoed.

"Naked." he confirmed with a blush on his face, not meeting my eyes for a minute. "B-but maybe it was someone's quirk? Transporting you here as a joke?"

"Maybe...but why would they do it across the sea?" I felt my irritation bubble up, I really was not in the mood for this and I felt my stress pile up. My tail thumped against the mattress in irritation as smoke puffed from my nose. "Or teleport me naked! Like who does that? What the fuck-" When I opened my mouth sparks and smoke came out making Izuku choke.

"H-Hey! Hey! It'll be alright, calm down, Charlie-san, we'll figure this out, okay?" Blowing smoke, I sighed. I need a smoke. "Until we can figure stuff out, you can stay here if you want..." With a weary sigh I responded,

"Sure. I really appreciate it. I ask a favor...or two?" He nodded giving me the 'go-ahead', "May I have some clothes and may I borrow some money, like... 480-ish yen?"

"That's such a specific number but...sure." Izuku reached into his pocket pulling out the bills and then went into his closet pulling out a shirt and a pair of pants. "Does this help?"

"Yes, but um...can you..."I got out of bed ignoring the cold air on my bare skin, "Can you help me put this on? The shirt and the pants? Because y' tail and my wings?"

"O-Oh! Um! Sure?" Izuku stammered, "I've never seen a girl naked before-no that's not what I meant to say out loud, I-"

"Hey it's okay, Zuku. Let's just get these on, alright?" Izuku paused.

'Zuku?' he thought, 'that's adorable! I got a nickname from a cute girl!' Izuku felt his heart squeeze then he made the face.

Is that the face he makes when Uraraka says cute shit to him? Interesting.

"Oh yeah! Um...Let's get this on you. But it might be too small."

"You calling me fat?"

"Uh, no! No, no, no, no, no!" Izuku started, "Y-your wings..." he paused before looking down at his feet, "And your chest." Now I had to tease him,

"What about my chest?" Izuku was redder than a fire-truck,

"Hudge." He whispered.

"Huh." Was my simple response. "Let's just try, okay?"

After squeezing on a shirt and cutting holes in them so my wings could fit, Izuku watched as I struggled to get into his sweatpants.

"Man, I thought my body was fine until I started putting on your clothes, these are squeezing my tits-"

"Charlie-san! Don't say that!" After wiggling on the sweat pants, I sighed,

"It's true, Zuku, they literally pop out of this shirt. It makes it look like a crop-top." Izuku said nothing as he fidgeted looking away pointedly.

"Okay, can I have that money? I promise to pay you back."

"Sure...can I ask why?" I took it before opening his window to climb down,

"Yeah. I need a cigarette." Before he could protest, I climbed down the window and made my way into downtown. I looked around until I saw this shady run-down shop. With a toothy smirk I spread my wings flapping them gently to stretch them then started to walk to the store. I went inside only to see Kagero Okuta, the shady guy in the purple suit who deals weapons and super-hero costumes( yes, he is an actual character.), talking to A man with black hair and a trench coat. I walked in irritably, I felt my good mood going away as I felt the need for a smoke. I was getting supper agitated. "Hey." They looked at me before continuing to talk. "I said 'hey' you fuckers!"

"Mn?" The black haired man lazily looked at me, but instead of him dismissing me again his eyes landed on my chest. "That shirt's a little small, Scales. Your tits are hanging out."

"No they aren't and did you just call me scales? Because I'm a dragon girl? How original."

"Your right, I'm sorry, Cow."

"You callin' me fat, Ragdoll?" He scoffed,

"Ragdoll? You call that shit original?" He sighed with a chuckle, "You're not fat, your thick. And I think those tit's of yours..."

"S-shut up, I don't want to hear it!" I marched past him only to Talk to Kagero, "Can I have some smokes?" The older man behind the counter smirked,

"Why do you need smokes if your a dragon?"

"Hey, why don't you shut the hell up and pass them over, hm?" I felt myself getting really agitated. I slapped the money down on the counter.

"My, my, this little dragon sure is feisty." Just as I was about to respond I felt a rough hand cup my ass cheeks. "I like that."

"Fucking perv." I yelled as I took the smokes off the counter and ran out of the store. Geezus... Now to find the way back. I lifted the hem of the shirt I was wearing and focused on Izuku's cent. "There it is!" using my nose I followed the sent until I reached his house. Instead of climbing back in the house I climbed on the roof and used my breath to light the cigarette, but all that came out was a couple sparks. When it finally lit I said,

"What type of dragon can't spit fire?" Silence answered my question. "Guess I'll just have to learn." I took a long drag before looking up at the stary-night sky. I wonder how my family was doing? And, did they wonder about me?

The end!
