Struggling through a particularly stressful entry to the new school year Adora desperately needs a way to let off steam. She finds it when Catra saves her in a fight, and Catra finds the same in Adora.
A comfortable, low drama story meant to warm the heart.
Normally try to avoid having titles with sex in my recommended list, but the sex isn't the main focus and the fluff is just that good. Strong atmosphere, stronger character writing, and a lovable cast round out the reasons this definitely deserves the rec for anyone looking for a lighter read featuring the pair.
Catra comes from the other college in town with a reputation of being rough and tumble, she managed to transfer out to Midland but only two months before the closing of her old place spilled all those delinquents she was trying to get away from into Midland with her. Things kick off one night when Catra notices some local punks planning on jumping one of the school's top jocks, a fencer named Adora, and for some reason Catra decides to get involved and lend a hand. What follows is mostly a sweet and easy relationship, peaceful nights camping with friends, and a lot of love.
