"zuko and katara having dreams about each other. except—in their dreams, they’re oma and shu. and they have these dreams all the time.
but the dreams always change at the last second, so they never figure out the whole entirety of the context of the dream. it’s like—through the dreams, they get pieces to a puzzle, but they never end up solving it.
they have these types of dreams for years, and when they meet in the crystal catacombs, their heads start to hurt—a lot. when their heads start to hurt at the same time, they’re shocked. so, they get to talking about their dreams and realize: they’ve been having the same dreams, but from different perspectives.
zuko is oma; katara is shu."
